750 ml bottle into a tulip glass. Best by 8/25/18, had 2/17/17.

Pours a clear, bright, pale yellow with a two inch foamy head- with great retention, and lots of foamy lacing. Very active carbonation. Smells of Belgian yeast, light banana, cloves, black pepper, bread, light malt, other spices- maybe coriander. A little funky and straw- like. The taste also leads with the Belgian yeast, then cloves, a little more malt than the nose, spices, some pears and apples. Still a little bready, a bit of lemon. Smooth, dry, creamy, a solid medium body, the carbonation is on the high side.

A classic Tripel that's well executed. I appreciate this more, each time I have it. One of the best for the style, make sure to give it a try.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy golden yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing arranging itself nicely around the glass. The smell had a nice blend of sweet iced apple with a light citrus bitterness and then a light clove to even things out a bit. The taste was mainly sweet but carried a nice crisp spice to it through the clove. There’s a slight sticky sweet aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but not overbearing. I say this was good. Overall, I say that this was a pretty good tripel that I would have again.

A medium-strength pour produces a solid, 1-1/2 finger white head with really excellent retention; halfway through the glass, there's still about a 1/8 finger remaining. Body is golden and hazy, showing plenty of action.

Aroma is classic Tripel: clove, banana, spice, lemon, and honey. Flavor follows, with a sweet, malty, thick body, spiced with clove, banana, light sweet citrus, and honey. Full bodied, exactly as you'd expect for the style.

This is a really fantastic, classic Tripel. It checks all the right boxes and hits all the right notes. Truly sublime.

11.2oz bottle poured into a tulip glass blasts a fruity apple/kiwi aroma displaying a cloudy yellow straw body while floating a 3/4in white fluffy head with some lacing.
Aroma is remains fruity and bready but becomes more muted as it sits between drinks.
Flavors run the gamut from fruit: kiwi, banana, and apple; to spice: clove, pepper, carbonation; to malt breadiness and alcohol.
Mouthfeel is light, clean, and bubbly without being metallic.
Overall a complex well crafted beer.

Appearance: Pours a beautiful golden, with a gorgeous white head that mostly fades within the minute but about a quarter inch sticks around with fine beautiful lacing and small streams of bubbles rising, really a beautiful look.

Aroma: Wow, I get so much here, everything a Tripel ought to be, bubblegum, pears, apples, even berries, breadiness, and not much of an alcohol aroma passing through. Doing great so far.

Mouthfeel: Rich, creamy, and very thick. Light carbonation that accents rather than takes center stage. Three for three so far.

Taste: Banana, cloves, subdued apple, a pleasing bready sweetness, and a complimenting floral hint. The aftertaste fades into this amazing subtle bubblegum with no hint of sharpness. The alcohol content is present and neither well hidden or exaggerated, but about what you would expect for the ABV. Hitting every Tripel note a Tripel ought to!

Overall: This is everything a Tripel should be, one of the best. I tasted this alongside a (revisited) Westmalle Tripel, together, to sort of see which (at least I personally) thought was better, and it was a very close call. The Westmalle bested the Karmeliet in mouthfeel, but in overall taste, character, scent, and balance the Karmeliet edged out, due to the Westmalle's harsher end notes and aftertaste. If you prefer something more peppery and creamier, the Westmalle is the way to go. But if you want something a little more gentle yet with perfect balance and depth of character with more fruit and floral notes, then the Karmeliet is better. Both are incredible beers though and ultimately come down to personal preference. If I had to choose, I'd pick the Karmeliet.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass at the World of Beer in Columbia, SC. The appearance is a slightly hazy gold color with a medium sized white head. There is a ton of carbonation. The aroma is bananas, wheat and cloves. The taste is sweet bread with bananas and maybe some peaches.

Full of spicy (hops) pepper flavor, fruity wheat sweet and lots of alcholic flavor, fairly present aromas, but pleasant in balance, solid and good for another

Crystal clear (that is, before you pour the yeast residue), straw yellow. Looks a bit like apple juice, but yellower. Head is absolutely huge and stays for a while as a pretty solid ring of foam. Almost no lacing.

Smells of vanilla, caramel, coriander, bread; you can definitely smell the oats, but I'm not sure I would have identified it without reading the label. Alcohol coming on kinda strong.

Taste is very sweet and fruity, mainly apple and caramel. Grapes/raisin/dried plum as well. Pretty clear taste of alcohol. Some herbal hops. Honey? Some banana.

Pretty lively carbonation (a given, seeing how thick the head is) and medium body.

The alcohol is not very well hidden; too bad, because apart from that, it really smells and tastes fantastic, but I feel the alcohol presence would quickly become annoying after more than one bottle/pint.

It has a nice cloudy white look. Very sour smell to it, the taste isn't as sour as the smell but still super sour. It tastes like a sweet and sour hefeweizen.
