Cloudy dark straw colored with a white head.

Smells like iced tea? What the hell.
Taste is amazing. I would love to put it in words but I would fail miserably.

An outstanding tripel. Poured clear straw colored with little sediment at the bottom. Smell is malty sweet with floral overtones, prepping the senses for the deeper flavor to come. The mix of malty sweetness, flowery characters, banana, herby yeast flavors, and a bit of a bite from lite phenols is perfection. Mouthfeel compliments the flavor profile.

Hazy straw color with a massive billow of white foam which, about 2 minutes following the pour, grew to hover over the lip of the chalice. Yeast, lemon and honey on the nose. Flavor is slightly sweeter, with candi sugar, banana and bubblegum flavors. Very tasty. Super carbonated - you can actually HEAR this beer from a distance.

From a 12 oz. bottle with a best by 2/17, pours a beautiful blond, straw beer with a massive pillowy white head. Taste follows nose with floral, citrus, yeast, grain, and some booze. An excellent Tripel and an absolute pleasure to the senses.

Cloudy straw colored with a full cumulonimbus head; lots of lacing. Light appealing nose; I get wheat and florals, maybe a little lemon peel. Taste - wheat, citrus, most of which evaporates off the palate quickly. Mouth feel - crisp and dry, big carbonation, refreshing. I am amateur at Tripels, but this one makes me want to explore further. Still trying to figure out where they are hiding 8.4 ABV in this one -- drinks much lighter.

Plenty of carbonation bubbles, but no discernible head. The color is gold and brilliantly clear. Aroma of light grain, sweet oats, and sweet light Belgian candy sugar are present. I taste sweet light Belgian candy sugar, light grains, sweet oats, and just a hint of slightly fruity Belgian triple yeast. It is a very clean tasting beer that is highly carbonated, dry, and crisp.

Poured cloudy straw color with large amount of white fluffy head, mild pour. The initial flavors were very pleasant: banana, honey, fruity. The flavor was quickly masked by excessive body/mouthfeel. The beer seemed to expand in my mouth with foam, nearly blocking the flavors. I let the beer sit for a little bit and found it to be much more pleasant.

Pours a clear straw gold with billowing head and lots of lacing. Nose is estery, but also somewhat phenolic and medicinal. Flavor is malty with candied fruits, and also sweet and sour sauce. Mouthfeel is crisp.
Honestly, this has been better on other occasions...but you can only rate what you are drinking. Maybe we'll relook this one in the future. A bit disappointing.

This beer overachieves, but it's not great either. The pale straw color and cloyingly sweet cheap beer smell didn't have my mouth watering, but the taste has some complex fruit flavors and it's got a little thickness. Good, but not great; buy it on the cheap.

Appearance - This beer pours a beautiful hazy golden color with a huge white foamy head reminiscent of duvel. The carbonation seems lively as even after the head fades your lrft staying at 3mm if foamy lace over the top of this Gorgeous looking beer.

Aroma - The smell is fairly complex here, As I took a deeper smell the first thing that came to my nose was honey and vanilla, followed by corriander light pepper, earthyness and fresh cut white bread.

Taste -The spice from the pepper is definitely at the forfront of this brew, followed by some vanilla corriander, light fruits like apple and pear, and a medicinal quality. The back end has an alcohol bitterness, all of this comes together very nicely.

Feel - This is a medium bodied brew with prickly carbonation on the tongue, as it goes down your throat you get a slight alcohol warming feeling,

Overall - While this beer is unlike other tripels I have tried, It definitely embodies enough of the style for you to know right away this is a tripel, Usually I judge these types of beers on how well they hide the alcohol they contain and you can definitely taste it in this but it warms you. It feels good and the flavors mesh so well I dont see the need to. If you see this one pick it up, you wont be disappointed.

Poured into a tulip glass.

Look: very light. Lots of head. Looks like a Hefeweizen.

Smell: Fruity. Deceptively light.

Taste: Malty. Somewhat sweet. Not apparent that it's 8.4 percent alcohol.

Feel: Again deceptively heavy. Very satisfying finish.

Overall. Very good example of the style. Kinda pricey, but worth it.

Pours a beautiful bright, hazy straw gold with three fingers of dense, fluffy white head. One of the better looking pours in recent memory. Smell is a pleasant blend of mild funky grass, light citrus, honey, and coriander.

Taste is sweet ripe banana, pear, faint citrus, white pepper and spicy yeast esters. Body is somewhat light and the carbonation high, yet it is able to mainatain a slightly sticky quality that coats the palate well. Overall pretty smooth, but there is a detectable alcohol heat in the finish. Only a very subtle bitterness is present.

One of the better tripels I've had. A bit more bold in the flavor profile than some, but very well done.

Rich, hazy, straw colour. Three finger white, foamy head that recedes quickly leaving mounds of suds. Carbonation evident.

Yeasty aroma. Lemon zest, banana.

Lemon, spice, wheat.

Rich, spicy mouthfeel. Perfect level of carbonation. Crisp and dry. Alcohol is noticeable. Exceptionally drinkable beer for 8.4% ABV.

I love this beer! Outstanding Belgian Tripel. Has many characteristics of a wheat beer but the lemon is intense and the spice is absolutely perfect. Sharper than a wheat beer, crisp, just as refreshing. Perfect in summer or winter. Readily available in Waitrose, so is a staple on the shopping list.

At Bier Market Montreal.

A hazed white amber with a thin white lace and persistent head.

S: Honey like sweetness, soft vanilla and medicinal that evolves into organic herbal. Malt is backdrop to yeasty mid range.

T: Prickly carbonation with warming, spicy alcohol. Ample peppery taste with a medicinal herbal flavor.

Needs cheese

Pours with a light foamy head. Scent of mild hops and light alcohol. The color is golden, slightly clouded, almost like apple juice in appearance but with carbonation. The feel is smooth and lightly effervescent. The taste is similar to a Belgian pale ale, but it is slightly sweeter with less hoppiness. At over 8%, the alcohol is evident but not overpowering. It sneaks up on you. A decent tripel, at least one of my favorites in this style.

Look - Golden, amber with a one finger egg white head. Heavy stream of bubbles from the center of the glass.
Smell - Funk.
Taste - Sweeter than a lot of other tripels I've had but it's balanced by a nice bitterness on the finish.
Mouthfeel - Nice and full but slightly over carbonated.
Overall - A complex but drinkable tripel. A good introduction to funky flavors.

T - Ahh. Sweet with a little banana and pepper.
M - I let mine warm up, and the mouth feel was soft, almost creamy.

Had on-tap in Paris, poured into an oversized tulip glass.

L: Poured a hazy deep golden color with 3 fingers of creamy white head. Generous lacing.

S: Complex, with citrus notes, pepper and spices, and some alcoholic sweetness.

T/F: Big Belgian triple taste... aggressive spices with fruitiness from the yeast. Malts and grains. . No significant hops. Zesty and carbonated.

O: A very nice Belgian triple. .. spicier than others and lots going on. Complex and delicious.

This was one fine beer. One of the best examples of this style available. The only slight distraction was the fragrance was a bit funky, but not enough to distract from the wonderful flavor
