I was able to stop by during my last visit to Jacksonville. I was staying at the beach and was glad to see another near by option.
As you enter, the bar is directly in front of you. It takes-up the center of the room and is a nice focal point. There is plenty of seating and a nice patio on the south side of the building. Nice sized crowd and it is kid friendly.
The service was friendly and when someone in my party ordered a Dogfish Head, they were quick to ask if they meant the 60 or 90 minute, so points for knowing the menu. They seem to be a bit overstaffed, but that meant we got plenty of attention from them.
I only had an appetizer so I wont rate the food but plan on coming back to try their pizzas or a calzone as the food looked and smelled very good.
They offer a decent beer list (both bottle & draft). Yes, they offer a lot of macros due to the crowd they attract, but there are some nice craft choices to fill in the void. I think they focus on East & SE breweries, which makes sense given their location. Draft beers were fresh and the tap lines seemed well maintained.
Well worth a stop while visiting the beaches!

Mellow Mushroom, Jacksonville Beach, FL
Atmosphere is a notch up for the typically Mellow Mushroom vibe. It seems to draw a 20something crowd for the live music which includes some great musicians enjoyed by any age. The layout is spacious, and sit in "the bus" if you have kids with you as it has an actuall school bus inside the dining area.
Food quality is consistent with most other MM locations. Service is par, and bar staff is semi knowledgeable about the 20+ or so tap offerings. Loyal beer patrons can earn t shirts after completed "tours".
Value is reasonable for the food, but beers can be a bit pricey for high gravoty brews.
Purple Haze, Hoegaarden, and PBR is $2 all day every day.
Chimay White, Stone IPA, DHF 90 etc is ~$7 a serving.
$5 for a pint of most other offerings....
