Bottle and part of a Greene King head brewers choice that I received as a gift
Pours a golden body with minimal white head
Aroma has hops but all the traits of hop oil
Tastes of stewed tea and soap

500ml bottle (clear glass!?). Clear, dark amber colour with a short-lived head. Smells of sweet tropical fruit. Taste is light malt & citrusy hops. Bitterness is very low. Light body albeit with a dry finish. A light, summery, session ale. An English pale ale with new world hops. Not unpleasant but kind of bland and tastes cheap.

L- Between dark old gold and pale copper. Pours with 5mm white head clearing quite swiftly to lacing.
S- Either fruity or floral hard to tell.
T- Ohhhh-k, it's quite hoppy-dry especially on the first swig. Quite toasty bready malts in the middle. Hoppy-dry again into the finish.
M- Dry, refreshing, with about as much body as you could expect to wring out of a 4.0% beer.
O- Zero out of place here. Lighter than I'd usually go for, tho would be useful as a session beer.

- Bought from Waitrose as part of a Greene King 'Brewers selection' 6-pack of different bottles.

Amber, clear, white head, quite high, with a low durability.
Aroma: malt, caramel and citrus.
Taste: malt, caramel, citrus on the finish. It is light and refreshed.
Gentian intense, citrus, long, medium saturation towards the high.

Bought as part of a Costco pack of Green King's "craft" offerings. Are those terms mutually exclusive with this company?
Pour looked good, and the nose had some nice fresh hop aroma. So far so good.
Taste was very plain and one-dimentional...a cheap pale ale. Mouthfeel was thin.
Overall, just okay.
