This is house Kolsch at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square.
The beer comes in slightly hazy golden yellow.
The beer has a medium plus amount of honey sweetness on it. Slightly sweet for the style. Onto a lager/ale balanced yeast and spicy hops, grass, and lemons, grapefruit on the finish.
A decent kolsch, which is quite rare for an American brewed kolsch.

Poured a medium straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was very good retention and lacing.
The smell featured light pale malts and an adjunct like sweetness. Lacking the hop bite I was expecting.
The taste consisted of a light pils malt and tired balancing hop.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a subpar kolsch.
