On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.

Poured a dark amber hue with a one finger foamy off white head. There was decent retention and lacing.

The smell featured an artificial fudge icing aroma that transferred over into the flavor. Otherwise some good roasted malts dried out the experience.

The mouthfeel was toward the thinner side of the style.

Overall a decent porter. The chocolate didn't work for me though.

Pours almost black with a poorly retained one half inch head. Smells of chocolate and malt. Strong semi-sweet chocolate flavor. Not highly carbonated. With a light mouth feel. Drinkable, but there are much better chocolate porters and stouts available.

A black pour with a nose of faint malt and chocolate. It's not strongly floral.

A light start on the drinking with notes of malt upfront and a semi-sweet chocolate finish. The mouth feel is very light and really gets close to being watery. At under 6% its very sessionable and I enjoyed the chocolate flavors on the finish.

Overall, a pretty average porter at best that is nicely sessionable.
