Tons of raspberries on the aroma, but translates artificially to the palate. Probably an OK beer for big raspberry fans.

On draft at Mr. Beery's in Bethpage, New York.

Poured a hazy medium straw hue with a two finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured a bitter raspberry and champagne.

The taste consisted of a dry raspberry and light wheat malt. Champagne essence dominated.

The mouthfeel was dry and very carbonated.

Overall a decent fruity wheat ale. Nothing all that exciting, but refreshing.

had this one at the north fork fest a couple weeks ago (along with everything else they would give me)

this is a very nice beer. easy to drink, very refreshing. the raspberry taste isn't too over bearing. just very nice.

reminds me a bit of harpoon raspberry ufo...i could be way off, but that's what i was reminded of. if you like that one, try this one and my wager is that you'll be a fan

4oz plastic cup sample from a keg at Big Z Beverage - Huntington, NY / Long Ireland Beer Company tasting on 11/7/09.

Cloudy yellow color with a tight white head.
Sour berries and some malted wheat.
Odd tasting to say the least.
Medium bodied with decent carbonation.
I wasn't particularly fond of this beer.

Handbottle. Yeah, this is unfiltered. Pours a dense, super cloudy light yellow (kind of disturbing actually) with a huge, thick white head. Aroma of sweet raspberry juice and wheat malt, some clove. Flavor of light raspberries with a wheaty/yeasty backbone. Besides the frightening appearance, this actually isn't too bad.
