In my mind, this place is the epitome of what the "Craft Beer Revolution" stands for; a small operation where you are likely to see the owner/brewer and the employees have a passion for the craft.

The place is a little on the cozy side and was quite busy when I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. In spite of the crowd, the bartender never left us hanging. The bartender was quite pleasant and I enjoyed discussing beer and the craft business in general. There were three beers available on tap; FHP Ale (a Belgian Farmhouse), their Pale Ale and an Oatmeal Stout. All were very good - not ground breaking or earth shattering, just good, fresh, high quality craft beer.

If you are reading this then you certainly need to seek this place out if you happen to be in the Space Coast area.

A nice quaint little brewery/nano brewery. Stopped in for a beer with my adult children after a day of fishing and tasted a couple of their selections. Not bad/not great but worth the stop! Check them out if you find yourself in the neighborhood!

Cozy Cocoa Beach home with a small bar, 4 taps and seating area with TVs showing skateboard videos. While limited in its selection of brews, the friendly service and converted home feel like having a beer at a friend’s home. Quaint and clearly preceding a more recent craft beer wave, well worth a stop if passing through.

Small brewery. The staff aims to please, but there is little in the way of resources for them to work with. Location is a small but charming house converted to a brewery. 4 stools at the bar and about that many a a long table in front of the bar. There is a smaller living room setup and some sparse picnic tables scattered around. Tender said this was a guys retirement folly and it seems to be treated accordingly. It was disappointing they only had two beers, a light key lime beer that finished flat and salty. The other was a pretty decent stout, that busted the keg on my pour. So I got the last one. Then it was down to one beer. I had heard Hurricane Matthew did some damage, but some other locals pitched in to help them get back up and running. I can also say overwhelmingly most people who got damage are back on their feet. Owner need to choose all in or get out. He can always brew some beer in his garage for friends and family.

This was stop #10 (of 10) on a Florida vacation for my wife and me. The pub is located along a busy commercial street that is just a block off the very busy main thoroughfare that runs through town. The brewpub is situated in a converted dwelling in a nice-looking, but older neighborhood. A couple of picnic tables occupy the front yard, probably to serve as the beer garden. Stacked bags of grain, some kegs and a couple of stuffed chairs are located inside the first small room inside the door, and the small bar is in the next small room. This entire place is small!

There were only 3 beers on tap, which is their usual number, but they sometimes have as many as 6. They don't serve beer in sampler-sized glasses, but will sell a half pint in a pint glass, so we ordered a half pint of each. . The beers are brewed very well to style so that we gave a grade of B or B- to them. I really liked the Pale Ale, but I also warmed up to the Key Lime Blonde after it warmed up and allowed the like flavor to show through. The third beer was an oatmeal stout. The beers are rotated with other styles, but they try to keep either the pale are or the IPA on tap at all times. The bartender says they distribute a little bit locally, and occasionally bottle some beers in 22 oz. bottles.

There is no food served here, nor are there any snacks available. It seems like this is a small brewery that may not have dreams to grow up, but there is something quaint about this place that would be ruined if they got much bigger. I liked the place, and will return if ever in the area again.

A small location near the heart and soul of Cocoa Beach. There's plenty to see, do, and if you're a guy, you can get yourself in trouble with very nearby "establishments."

Anyway, the place may be small, but it very relaxing - they normally have a minimal selection, but because of the "coziness" of the location - and because it pulls from the beachside community - you end up meeting some interesting people - local and tourist and otherwise. So far, this is one of my favorite breweries to visit in Brevard County.

I stopped in here on my last day (12/27/13) of my "Christmas Week with the In-Laws version 2013" while exploring the Melbourne/Cocoa Beach/Merritt Island beer scene in Florida. This is a great little place with very friendly locals/travelers/bar staff. They only had 3 brews on tap (an IPA, a Pale, and a Saison) but that was cool by me since this was my 6th stop of the day. Struck up a conversation with the bar keep and found out that he was originally from the Raleigh, N.C. area and that he was a Duke fan (forgive him Lord for he knows not what he does). Aside from that, I turned him on to a bottle of Hardywood GBS 2013 (spread the beer love). I also met a couple from Jupiter, Fl. (who were incredibly friendly ... so I turned them on to a 2013 Olde Hickory Lindley Park). Enjoyed my brewz and headed off to stop #7 ... This is a great little place across the street from some body of water (the atlantic ocean? the intercoastal waterway? damned if I know). If you are in the area give er a try, I did and I have no regrets.

Cocoa Beach Brewing Company is a tiny little bar in what I believe was once air force base housing. The only beer on tap when I was here today was the pale ale. The bartender says their distributor is taking all the beer they can brew, a good sign for our local beer scene imho. I purposely go during off hours. The bartender is always friendly and the beer is good. Bottles were available as well as the one beer on tap. I don't like crowds, so I don't go during busier times, when this little bar might just be overwhelming.

I stopped in Cocoa Beach Brewing one day after visiting Florida Brewing Company. Its unlike any brewery in the world, because its in a small home on the atlantic coast. Its small, quaint, quite and friendly. I had an opportunity to talk with some great people about brewing beer.

Cocoa Beach Brewing Co is a quaint little brewery right across the street from the beach. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. Although it is fairly small, the inside has a living room feel with couches and a tv. The newly added back porch is an awesome addition of space; it is great to sit outside and enjoy the beer. The staff are always friendly and are great to chat about brewing with. The locals are also very friendly, loyal, and fun to talk to. This brewery is a home brewers dream to visit.

Try the 888 IPA, it's a great, hoppy IPA.

Walking in the front door is like walking into someones house. You walk through a small family room to get to the bar, which is very small. They only have 4 taps, most times only two of their beers are on tap, usually their Pale Ale and Oatmeal Stout. Have some quality guest taps on occasion. This is their biggest downfall, is there usually is quite often only two beer choices.

It's a small family run business, so usually one of the owners, Chris or Tracy is tending the bar. Both are friendly and knowledgeable about their products, although Chris more so since he is the head brewer. No matter who comes in, they never make you feel like a stranger. It's usually fairly quiet, just one TV. All their beers I've had are solid, nothing exceptional, but nothing bad either. Worth checking out if you are in Cocoa Beach, as it's one of the better options in this wasteland for good beer.

Visited for my second time 6/18/2011. The first time we went it was a mediocre experience so I decided to give them another shot. While the place itself is very clean and laid back, it definitely is cramped when people start showing up. The second time around there were around 15 people inside and 3 of them had to stand while drinking. I've read a few reviews about the owner talking to people etc... but each of the two times I've been in it's been a group of 4-6 of us and we have seen the owner but he is just dropping off beer and then leaving. The lady behind the bar is friendly enough but seems swamped and busy most of the time. With friends after a day at the beach I imagine it's worth a visit, but I probably wont be going back myself.

I stopped by on Cinco de Mayo to try out the limited release of Key Lime Cerveza, and ended up hanging out for a while. The place is a converted home, and from what I hear, it is an old military housing unit, and one of the oldest buildings in Cocoa Beach. The brewer and his assistant were in that night watching True Lies on the tv. The bartender/brewer's wife informed me that they had brewed that day (Pale and IPA), and this was the brew-day ritual, which I got a pretty big kick out of. Definitely a laid back and inviting atmosphere. The place is bright and clean, but I can imagine it would get a little on the cramped side if more than a handful of people were hanging out. I was alone with the "family" that night, so it was very welcoming and relaxing. They had four taps going while I was there, and there were also bottles available to-go with some different brews available. Impressive little set-up, and the brews are tasty, too. Fun little place to swing by for vacationers, and the only option in the immediate area for the locals without driving quite a ways north or south. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other releases that I missed the first time around. Fun stop!

The family and I wondered down to this little house where the brewers were hanging out. It looked like we walked into someone's house. A nice, cozy, comfortable spot with couches and a bar. I'm sure it was just right for the amount of customers that walk in. Great service, and very informative and talkative brewers. Seemed like they were very busy folks. Just recently started distributing and upped their production. There beers were all ok, but didn't care for the stout. It was a little on the ashy side. They had three beers on tap and they were all pretty solid. Reasonable price. The place has potential to grow.

Cocoa Beach Brewing Company is just a short walk from the beach. Upon entering, it seems as if I just meandered into someone's den. The place is cozy and small, with a leather couch, table for eight, and bar seating for four to five. There are two flat screen televisions, both set to sports channels.

The owners, Chris and Tracy, are very nice folks. We had a nice conversation regarding beer and the craft beer industry.

A big downside to the place is that they are unable to meet the demand of the customers. They were completely sold out of bombers, and I had to wait about 20 minutes for a full pour of the oatmeal stout, their most highly sought after beer, as the keg ran out immediately after I arrived.

While I thought the oatmeal stout was delicious, I really didn't care for the English IPA. Actually, I found it to be quite reprehensible and was surprised that the same brewer could make such a good oatmeal stout.

There is no food available from the brewery. However, you can order food into the bar from a number of local eateries, which is convenient.

Beers were $5, which isn't cheap, but I've seen worse. I hope this brewery will continue to improve, as it has potential. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

Visited on Sept. 8, 2010 after hitting Cocoa Beach.

This brewpub is literally across the street from the beach. As i walk up to the house, i'm wondering if i should ring the bell. It really seems like i'm visiting someone at their house and going in only reinforces that. There's a few lazyboys in the first room and the bar is at the back. The bar was full so me and my family sat at the table next to the bar. The pub was quite small and probably couldn't accommodate more than 20 people.

The mug washer/barman/brewer (as he affectionately called himself due to people leaving or being sick and leaving him alone) said there was only 1 beer left since he got wiped out from tourists plus sending beer to the GABF. Thankfully, it was the stout which is the one i wanted to try. He was very talkative and knowledgeable. He made mention that some Canadians had come down for the Olympics and left a 20$ bill up on his wall which started a trend.

My only gripe is the way he poured the beer. He poured it in a way that gave zero head which i didn't really appreciate. Other than that, i think it's worth checking out and if i come back, i hope he'll have more choices.
