With this special release we are excited to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association, MA/NH Chapter and their goal of a world without Alzheimer’s disease.
Unforgettable is a single hopped IPA featuring Warrior hops. With an upfront punch of tangerine and other mild tropical fruit on the nose, Unforgettable has a good amount of back end bitterness, which is where we like it.

A - 4.25 - Nice head, nice lacing, nice color - kind of a darker golden color, good head retention
Smell - 4.0 - Nice aroma
Taste - 4.75 - Very tasty! A nicely balanced Belgian ale - just what I was looking for at this moment - not over the top on any level - very drinkable - satisfied the ale urge and the Belgian want without a huge hit of alcohol. Very nice.
Mouthfeel - 4.25 - Light and refreshing
Overall - 4.5 - Just really hard to find anything not nice to say - I would drink this beer anytime. This is a great beer!

A - Foggy pale yellow and much less head than expected. Not too much retention but little droplets of lacing clinging to the glass.
S - Strong malty'ness with lemon
T - Crisp and refreshing. Great malt profile with citrus coming from the Belgian yeast. No hint of any banana that steers me away from most Belgians.
M - Thin but refreshing. Medium/strong carbonation and mouth left with spiciness as the label described.
O - Not a beer I would typically drink but I like this. Perfect for this stifling heat wave we have in New England, transporting me to some outdoor cafe in Europe, sipping a pilsner.
Also glad to see proceeds going to charity. Wouldn't mind seeing more of this from other craft brews.

From the 22 fl. oz. bottle. The pour is a decent looking slightly hazy light to medium amber-copper. Not a lot of head. The aroma has a keen pale malt note that has a kind if caramel or sweet ester too. Butterscotch too. The body is medium but also a tad astringent. The flavor is yeasty, light malts, and a good dry hop finish. This is designed to raise money for Alzheimer's research so whether you like it or not - it is great cause.

Poured into an imperial pint glass. Color was a medium straw amber with a 1 finger white fomay head. A few minutes of rest, the head was down to a thin layer, that barely clung to the sides of the glass. Constant carbonation rose from the bottom. Aroma seemed to be a slightly sour fruit smell with a bit of malt mixed in. Picked up a bit of citrus current hiding in there. None of the normal hoppy aroma I would expect. Flavor started out a malty mellow, but then slowly built up to a hoppy finish. A faint hint of fruity helped cover the transition between the two. Felt ok in the mouth. A smidgen thin on the coating, with a bit of bubbly on the tongue. Left a bit of a hoppy bitter feel in the mouth afterwards. Not bad, but wouldn't buy again at $8. A bit of leeway on the price due to the low bottle count.
Batch 2, August 2012, bottle 49 of 96. Label did say 5.5% ABV, not the 7.00% listed here.

Poured from a bomber into a true pint, the beer is a slightly hazed, unfiltered, yellow-gold coloring with a thin, frothy, bright white head that settles into place and sticks around while you drink. Sediment throughout the beer. Aromas are unique and subtle, with a light biscuity backbone and some citrusy highlights, as well as a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg spicing. Flavors are a bit more malty than expected, with a late-blooming hops presence that brings a touch of resin, as well as peppery spices. Citrus blending of grapefruit, lemon, and orange highlight nicely. The hops come through into the aftertaste, as well, with a bitter, slightly drying effect at this point in the palate, with some heavily roasted character, also. Smooth, very balanced finish remains light and dry. Very tasty.
