Very Good
Taco Truck LagerTaco Truck Lager
Notes: This easy-drinking light lager has a nice mild character. Two-Row pale malt and the use of flaked oats and white wheat give the beer a clean, crisp character with a little sweetness, light body and smooth mouthfeel. Very low bitterness. Easy drinking and satisfying!

L: beautiful caramel color with thick super light brown sudsy head slow carbonation streams light retention very small cap. It’s called an American lager but she’s a little dark like they threw some roasted malts in instead of just 2 row oats and white wheat if that’s all they used it wouldn’t of made this so dark
S: super super deep caramel smell there’s absolutely no way they didn’t use a type of roasted barley but the smell is great very malty and sweet
T: light sour mash flavor also a light roast caramel at the back end low bitterness slight alcohol taste at the end
F: medium to thick bodied low on carbonation finishes dry
O: overall it’s an okay beer, the only problem is it’s labeled as an American lager and I feel like it’s more of a English brown ale

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades very fast, leaving a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is light overall, consisting mainly of a light grainy and citrus smell. Mixed with these aromas comes notes of caramel and a touch of toast.
Taste – The taste begins with a grainy malt flavor mixed with some bready tastes and a little bit of a caramel sweetness. As the taste advances the graininess fades a bit all while a light citrus flavor develops, leaving on with a rather easy going and slightly grainy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness with a carbonation level that is moderate as well. I would have liked to see a little thinner of a body and higher carbonation for the style and flavors, but overall the feel was alright.
Overall – A decent easy drinking Mexican lager, with a bit more flavor than the norm.

Look: Very hazy, yellow. Not at all what a Mexican style lager looks like.
Smell: Sour grain, mineral water.
Taste: Tastes like an AAL but then there’s a sour quality that hits you on the backend.
Mouthfeel: Heavy, feels thick and clings to your mouth. Weird.
Overall: Big waste of money. It’s a gimmick, like the tourist trap restaurants on the river walk in San Antonio. Avoid......

Gold with a medium white colored head.

Smells of noble hops from a distance. Smells of hay and a bit soapy. Scent of lager malt and a soda cracker scent. It is significantly malty from a distance.

Starts out very malty. Very yeasty and bready flavor. Hops are very grassy. Much more flavorful than any mass produced Lager.

Mouthfeel is good.

Overall much more flavorful than pretty much anything from Mexico. Quite good.

Ok this is just an amazing surprise. Did not expect such a treat when I bought this, but c'mon... Taco truck? It's nature's perfect food, made into a beer!

No lager I've had ever looked better. Poured straw yellow, crisp and clear, with a massive head that lasted and left a creamy thick cap and sticky lace more reminiscent of a tripel or Belgian pale ale than anything you'd expect to be associated with tacos.

Grainy, a bit grassy, with some dry biscuit and a lovely hops crispness.

Wonderfully complex and multi-dimensional, I would even venture into the realms of transcendental for this beer.

Definitely an amazing choice for street tacos, whether asada, picadillo, fajitas, guisada or carnitas.

Canned 6/4/20. Pours a pale-ish yellow with a blonde hue. Light and doughy upfront with a smidgen of hop presence. Crisp, sweet malt dominates the taste with the hops showing up toward the back. Sweet and bitter finish are reminiscent of others in this style. It could be my go-to for tall can lagers but the price is too high to justify it. This would pair well with your food I suppose. Check it out.

Straw filtered with no carbonation and 4 fingers of white head.

Smells of malts, hay, and children's aspirin.

Tastes of malts, slightly tart, with a dough yeast finish.

Light body with little carbonation.

Got this in Sacramento, drinking it Redding, Sept 17th, 2018. Decent and corona like.

Very nice taco beer. More taste, smell and feel than any XX, Corona, and Modelo, while not costing much more. This goes really great in the Summer with some ... tacos. Drink it for what it is, and you will not be disappointed.
