While the Broad St. location has a lot bigger selection, if you are in need of great BBQ and great beer near the Boulevard, you gotta hit this place.

Buz and Ned's has some cool atmosphere. Go on a cool day and sit outside. It has that awesome BBQ Joint atmosphere going for it without having Pig stuff all over the place like most do.

I think the BBQ is ok, but the beer selection is where they make up for it. They have a great bottle selection and always have Blue Point Toasted Lager on draft as "Buz Beer". The beauty of it is that they charge less than $3.50 for a draft. With other selections like Dogfish, Avery, Chimay, Delirium, etc. you can't go wrong.

Food is a bit pricey when you start adding sides and what not, but the draft beer made me give it the reasonable value.

Agreed - this place is a must visit for the food, but you WILL find a beer that you will enjoy. The BBQ is exceptional (everything from ribs to beef brisket to chicken skewers are amazing) and the sides (cuke and onion salad and sweet potato fries for me) are just great. $3.50 for 60 Minute IPA? Pretty damn good if you ask me, and goes great with BBQ. And they play the best blues I have ever heard!

They have 3 beer on draft, including Buz Beer, Legend Brown Ale, and another I can't remember. Other bottled selections include Hop Stoopid, Legend Brown Ale, Chimay, 90 Minute IPA, and a few more.

I put this on the Richmond list b/c of two reasons. First, if you're visiting Richmond and/or a fan of good BBQ - EAT AT THIS PLACE. Second, if Bottoms Up can be on the list w/ a limited beer selection than so can this place. They keep a few drafts, although they are kept in plastic tubs and served in plastic glasses. As for the 32 bottles they have macros but a nice mix of some well-known micros - DFH, Lagunitas, Delirium Tremens, Chimay. Bottom line, you come to this place to eat; not drink. This is a Richmond BBQ experience that is always crowded and is a must hit for lunch/dinner.
