May 2014: 500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 6.4%. Hazy deep orange colour, large to moderate off-white head. Nice aroma of fruity hops, notes of oranges, on a background of sweetish malts. Sweet flavour (maybe too sweet), fruity hops with notes of oranges and grapefruit, some pine needles / resin in the medium bitter finish.

Amber color with beige head. Aroma is mainly malty with biscuit notes but there are also some nice earthy hops present. Taste follows, malty at first but with a good dose of hops in the background, earthy and fruity. Nice caramel flavors with bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation, really easy to drink. Overall it's a more old school IPA but a quite good one.

The colour is amber-copper, the liquid got some chill-haze. The two finger head is compact and off-white. It sinks slowly leaving some lacing.
The smell is smooth and semi-sweet. Hoppy notes of grape fruits and lemon peels. Fruity bitterness and some caramel/lactose sweetness.
The taste is bitter and hoppy with wooden fruity flavours. Some lactose and dough. Tart bitterness and quite a lot of alcohol (it feels more like an 8-9% beer). Medium body. Some salt in the aftertaste as well as smooth bitterness, thick sweetness, tart fruits and banana peels. The finish is a bit harsh but apart from that quite smooth.
The carbonation is smooth, the small bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.
A smooth AIPA with some harsh bitterness.

A hazy, dark amber beer with a two finger high beige, head that leaves a lot of lacing on the glass.
Nose: Dried fruit, malt, orange marmelade, bisquit, herbs, caramel, citrus, resin and spice.
Taste: Grapefruit, ripe fruit, caramel malt, pine, resin, almond, hazelnut, a lot of hops and bitterness and also a little hint of butter.
Body: Full body. Light carbonated. Great texture. Thick oily taste. Soft and refreshing.
This is a great, "grown up" IPA with a full taste. I just love the story on the bottle!
ABV 6.4% Right between the bank interest rate - 0.5% when you deposit and 10% when you have to make a loan...
