Oatmeal stout brewed with blueberries with natural flavor added.
At 7.5% alcohol, this award-winning brew is a true winter warmer. Blueberry Oatmeal Stout has hints of chocolate, oatmeal and fresh blueberries. A wonderful pairing of flavors! Great for the holidays and for those who enjoy discovering new beers.

Appearance: black in color with a thick and fluffy 3" tan colored head that lasts.
Smell: blueberry rises easily from the glass. Some roasted malt sweetness lingers a bit more quitely.
Taste: roasted malts, chocolates, hint of coffee, and a fake blueberry concentrate taste. Bitterness is decent and helps balance out the sweetness.
Mouthfeel: medium-heavy in body. Lightly crisp at the start, smooth towards the finish. Short aftertaste.
Drinkability: wierd flavor combo makes this a unique beer to try, but more than one bottle would not be an option for me.

Poured from bottle into pint glass. Dark coffee brown and cloudy. Oats and malts with a hint of blueberry on the nose. Taste followed the aroma with a coffee finish. Medium bodied.
Stouts aren't my favorite but this was an enjoyable brew.

I found this on a whim at a local haunt, and decided to give it a whirl. It does not appear to be connected to Silence of the Lambs. It's a blueberry oatmeal stout with chocolate. The nose is missing, but there is a chewy oat note and the burn from the alcohol. I don't really taste blueberry, maybe the sugar converted to alcohol? I wouldn't buy this again.

Smoke from the bottle.
Black to dark brown, ruby hue at the tail end.
Two finger tan head. Foamy.
Bread-oatmeal-chocolate scent.
Creamy-mellow, &, as above. (I eat blueberries Every single day, thus my ability to detect them here may be hindered!)
The 7.9% is somewhat well-hidden. Dose not seem much at first, but totally grows on you! The dance between chocolate-malt and a sleepy booze undercurrent builds up steadily, to a refined plateau.
A good sipper, enjoyed with dark chocolate truffle.

Poured moderately hard from a bottle into a snifter glass, forming around a finger of light brown head that faded to almost nothing. Brown coffee color. Smell is a pleasant oatmeal stout with a hint of blueberry, barely detectable. Taste is similar, primarily malty oatmeal with a bit of blueberry, gets a little more bitter as it warms. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A solid oatmeal stout with the blueberry making it unique.

From the bottle, it pours a very dark brown with a modest head, soon reducing to a thin ring. Roasted malt and a touch of blueberry in the nose. The mouth gets a lovely feeling wash over the tongue with a touch of blueberry along with the expected roasted malt. It finishes with a roasted malt flavor on the tongue.
2020 update: Head lasts longer and taste is good.

Murky brown with a light tan, bumpy foam.
Smell is kind of tart, almost spoiled blueberry with stale Melba toast.
Taste is tart, metallic blueberry with chewy, crackery toast.
Thin, powdery dry, yet I'm starting to get unwanted hints of cough syrup. Blech!

No bottled on date, sadly.
Look: Clear other than a pinch of yeast from the bottom of the bottle, very dark brown with a big tan head which goes down to a cap of foam after a few minutes. Good lacing and tight bubbles.
Smell: Some fruitiness, roasted grain, and blueberry oatmeal and fruit pie aromas with a faint, creamy coffee background. A hint of alcohol, nuttiness, little hop aroma. It makes me hungry for breakfast.
Taste: More roasted grains, coffee with sweet cream, dark chocolates. There's much less fruit than the aroma until it warms up and a hint of alcohol pricks my tongue with a bite of sweet blueberry pie filling. The hops come through in the aftertaste with coffee and oatmeal for a lingering medium-dry finish.
Feel: Classic creamy oatmeal stout.
A note on the hops: This bottle's hops are much more dank, piney and even fruity than the subtle noble, earthy hops I remembered, which makes me wonder if it's from their Nov/Dec 2015 batch using (from what I briefly gathered) Kent Goldings and Cascade, or from 2016 using Northern Brewer, Kent Goldings, and Chinook. Whichever it is I like the upgrade, they're more noticeable and better complement rest of the beer while sticking to style.
Foremost it's an oatmeal stout with blueberry to complement everything. It's worth noting that too cold (straight out of the fridge) and it's all roasted grains, coffee and bitter chocolate, but a little warmer is where the blueberry comes through and the balance between oats, burnt grains, hops, and sweet fruits comes together.
