I had this Hefe yesterday during lunch at Buffalo Bill's.

Its appearance with a pale-golden color, extremely cloudy and small ring of stable head that did not go down much.

The aroma had an almost sour note to it not much citrus aroma coming out like typical hefs. The taste is what really let me down I was hoping for a very wheaty full of flavor hef judging from appearance but what I got was a light, flavorless and sour flavor which is a definite flaw not sure if its from the handling at the bar or something in the brew process. On the tongue it felt light and watery but once again I expected big hef feel and did not get it.

Sadly due to the sourness of this hef I can not recommend it but I would recommend Buffalo Bill's good food and some of the other beers were pretty good.

Sampled at the brewpub on 1/23/09, reviewed from notes, served with a lemon too which was a bad sign from the start, color is very pale and cloudy yellow, one inch soapy white head that goes away quickly, minor legs, aroma is full of grains, coriander, oranges, and yeast, flavor is way too light, also has a weird fruity aftertaste, honestly could not taste much wheat at any time, mouthfeel was very thin, too much carbonation, lack of longevity in the finish, could drink a lot of it but would not because the flavor profile is undesirable, lacks any real taste other than misplaced sweetness, would not drink again, not recommended
