Opaque black color. Thick creamy and rocky brown 3-4 finger head, lasting around 15 minutes, with good legs and generous swirl reaction. Flavors of coffee, chocolate, dark grains, dark berries, and herbal hops. Creamy medium to full body with moderate carbonation. Strong strength finish, highly yeasty, deep roasted while leafy and a bit piney. Almost feels like a black IPA. Still decently fresh for the style. Bold but nice complexity. Overall high quality craft.

500 Ml bottle dated 30th of july 2015.

Appearance - Pours a chocolate brown with A massive foamy head. I see a little sediment in the glass but nothing major.

Aroma - Dark chocolate hits your nose first followed by some milky and coffee notes.

Taste- Predominately dark chocolate followed by a Milkey taste then coffee lasting bitterness.

Mouth feel - Creamy medium-light body with a couple bubbles popping on the tongue.

Overall - A decent example of the style, enjoyed this one :) I wont seek it out but I'd drink it again!

500 ml bottle dated 27 Jan, 2015.

A: Deep black with a thick frothy head that dissipates slowly. Great lacing. A very attractive stout.

S: Chocolate, roasted grain

T: A little sweetness, mild chocolate, mild caramel malt.

F: Lower carbonation with a thin mouthfeel.

O: A decent sweet stout. Very drinkable, but not something I would seek out again.

Bottle pours a respectable near-black with an impressive coffee-coloured head that has decent retention. Nice aroma of malted dark and chocolate malts with enough milkiness to be interesting. Flavour follows that same path, with a decent malt base and enough coffee and chocolate tones to hold interest. Well balanced and with depth = all I could hope for from any Candian stout!

Black color beer, very dark. On top of it thrones a dense, brown and tenacious foamy head. Nice looking beer. The aroma is prefect. Chocolate dominated with enough hops in the background to make any hop lover likes this beer. Well hopped. The aroma is pretty inviting. On the taste, its wow. I love it. Creamy in the mouth and its coming out of a bottle. The body is heavy and dense. Some roasted malts and chocolate. The finish is hoppy. One of the best standard stout on the market in Quebec. Very nice. Love it!

Appearance: It has a nice jet black color to it. It has a nice thick tan head that dies down slowly and leaves great lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa and toasted malts.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has coffee, bitter dark chocolate, cocoa, floral notes and some toasted malts.

Mouthfeel: It has a low carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompainied with good flavors and aromas.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color ale with a generous light brown head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of black chocolate with some coffee notes is quite good. Taste is also dominated by some nice black chocolate notes with light floral coffee notes with a semi-sweet finish. Body is about average with some creamy texture and good carbonation. Not bad for the style.
