Went here for a beer and bite in mid-afternoon. December day with beautiful weather so thought we would enjoy the sun after landing at LAX. Waterside restaurant and never expected good beers - just wanted a bite and a beer if a good one was to be had....what a surprise! They had Alesmith IPA, Sierra Celebration, Racer 5 IPA, a couple Belgian Christmas Ales, Alaskan Amber - all on tap - plus a bunch of great micros and belgian in the bottle. Sure I'm missing some taps.
Fodd was decent - I had a fried clam appetizer which was okay - friend had a seared tuna appetizer which was super - served some fresh seaweed. The fries with my clams were very good. Clams okay at best.
Great beer find, decent food, great view of the marina.

Staying in the area and literally stumbled on this place while out for a walk.
Dark, dimly lit bar with library lights on the bar at each seat. Nice mix of tables with an awesome sound system room in the back. Must be rocking late at night.
40 taps or so with a decent, but not overwhelming selection. A couple of Stone offerings, a Ballast Point, Tripel Karamaleit, were all nice finds. Blue Moon was the most plebian offering. Impressive collection of tap handles decorate the walls, ceiling, and windows of the establishment.
Didn't try the food, but menu looked nice and good selection of cheap apps during happy hour. What I saw delivered looked very nice and appealing.
Staff was helpfull, turning me away from a keg that was not pouring well and making appropriate recommendations.
Not a destination, but if you are in the area and need a beverage, then it's worth a stop.
