This product is 3.7% abv with medium bitterness supported by chocolate and roasted malt flavours. The hop flavour is light but balanced by chocolate malt sweetness. This beer is excellent by itself, however it also goes well with cheese. A great Session Ale.

Pours a deep brown with a finger of white head. Nice sheets of lace left behind as the head drops to a thin cap. Dusty cocoa and nut aroma hints at lots of malty goodness. So much flavour packed into such a low ABV beer, which should blow away preconceptions about lighter beers being lighter in flavour. Lots of cocoa powder, nut and brown bread. Just a delightful mix, and sessionable not only because of its weight, but also because it tastes so damn good you want more. Medium-light body has a steady carbonation, which helps prevent it form becoming to thin.
Absolutely spot on for the style. As a transplanted Brit I've had the opportunity to try lots of excellent milds in the UK, and then witnessed the dearth of them in North America. This easily compares to the better examples I've had in the UK and will become a regular of mine whenever I see it on tap.

Enjoyed at Victory cask festival. Brewed contract by Paul of Pepperwood. Edgy for a mild, this black coloured beer was lacey, and was stoutish with birnt parts and even some roast aroam. Above average for style.Above average carbonation and the mouthfeel was a bit below average, but a surprise nevertheless.
