Doesn't overly thrill the senses but overall a nice smooth easy drinking brew.

Pours a clear cola colored mahogany with minimal head and lacing.
Smell is mild and malty caramel with some dark fruit.
Taste is smooth malt. Dark fruit and a bit of nut.
Earthy but pretty understated.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a goblet glass, medium head and typical dark ale color. Taste is malty and bready with mild hints of caramel and vanilla, otherwise no real flavor. Just a bland, inoffensive beer that goes down easy. Before you know it the glass is empty and you realize it didn't really taste like anything.

I live in Central Indiana, and get this beer from time to time. Beer has a great feel, malty, not overcarbonated, and for a dark beer feels light overall. Finish is clean, and not dry. Taste is almost light bread at first, then hops, grass, and is bitter but in a smooth way.

This is a common beer in this area, and quite refreshing, and can be found on tap in many local places here. I keep thinking that this is a light feeling beer, especially for being such a dark beer.

Wee Mac is basically a local beer to me. Indy is about 100 miles away so I get it fresh. I lean towards malty, mildly sweet beer and Wee Mac hits that spot for me. Tried it the first time on tap and was hooked from then on. Wish it was easier to get for me...living in a rural area....but I can get it after a 30 minute drive and I think it's worth the drive. My opinion is that it's better than 3 Floyd's ( a 40 minute drive to the brewery from my house) Robert the Bruce ......also a Scottish style dark brew.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a dark brown color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, light bread. Taste is malts, some caramel a bit of sweetness, fairly mild. Feels light bodied in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer, a bit lacking in flavor and punch.

Smallish head and little lace. Cloudy light brown color.

Smells weak but with all the right aromas. Some chocolate, some vanilla.

Thin bodied with an elevated carbonation level. Brown sugar base flavor. Light hop bitterness but not enough to balance which is typical for the style. Overall, not very impressive.
