They call this beer a cream ale but the color is closer to a lager to my eyes. A cream ale should be a light golden and this one...wasn't. It should also be a creamy brew with lots of loft usually from flaked corn, this beer felt like a light pale ale in taste. There wasn't any distinctive characteristic, I was half expecting a twist like coriander or a hit of rye in the grain profile but I was unable to find any. The smell had a bad yeasty tinge to it and otherwise did not have any great aromas from it. The mouthfeel had a dry ending, but bubbly otherwise. This isn't a bad beer but it also isn't anything to write home about.
