12 oz. can part of a six pack from Safeway in McMinnville.
TRaditional gold colored APA..though the head is nice and frothy and sticks around a bit.
As promised on the can the aroma is very citrus..clementines and blood oranges spring to mind.
Taste similar..but a tad on the sweet citrus side.
Mouth feel is excellent..medium and semi full..yet so easily quaffable
Good for the early summer camping trip

12oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a cloudy orange-gold color with about an inch of white head that had moderate retention and almost no lacing.

On the nose the Citra hops were the dominant feature, but in a very subdued way. Noticeable but not overpowering. under that was a basic grainy-malt scent.

Same on the palate, hop forward, malt foundation.

The body was smooth, even, and had a gently bitter finish.

Drinkability was very good, I could easily see knocking back a few pints.

Overall, a nice, solid, easy drinking Pale Ale. If you're in the mood for "a beer" you could do a lot worse than picking some of these up.

Clear pale amber with ample foam in the tall Pilsner glass. Peach and mango flavors with a resiny edge. It's quite flavorful, actually. Peach skins and a hint of dried banana. Some malty sweetness.

It doesn't seem so bitter but then here's an astringent touch in the aftertaste. Quite quaffable but that peculiar bitterness does get to you. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Date stamped 08/07/18 on the bottom.

A new one from Everybody's. We were disappointed by this one. The label says, "Citra Pale Ale", which is no doubt the dominate hop variety. The pour looked good, a light clear amber, but almost no head. A light aroma of citrus hops, but not much else. Had very low carbonation and is almost flat. Taste is a quick blast of hops, the fades out to an undistiguished beer-y flavor. It's not old. The can date is ( we think) 3/21/18 and today is April 14th. These guys can do better.
