First had: on tap at their brewpub

Actually a very nice light lager, a style I wouldn't normally be interested in, but that came in the sampler set. Poured a clear, golden yellow with a small white head that left some nice lacing on the glass. Basic aroma of grains and light hops. Bready taste, grainy, light hops, and some lemony notes. Light body, and very easily drinkable, even if not bursting with flavor.

On tap at Olympic Provisions PDX 8.26.11 $5 pint, only draft beer available.

Light gold clear body, not a lot of carbonation, quick dissipation, above average lacing. Some malty sweetness, a bit of floral hops on the nose, but not much of either. Taste mirrors nose, the sweetness has a corn like quality, blah, hops became a bit more pronounced as it warmed. Mouthfeel well on light side of medium, a bit of effervescence. Utterly unremarkable, but heh it's better than Bud--but not by much. Pass.

On tap at the brewpub in White Salmon.
A solid but unexceptional lager. Unexceptional compared to craft brewers, that is. As claimed, it's an "easy drinking lager with "real" flavor".

Crystal clear golden colour with a smooth white head. Fair head retention. No lacing.

Light spicy hop aroma with a hint of grain. Mild and unassuming but somewhat unpleasant.

Slightly vegetal flavour with grainy malt. Feels like DMS but it could just be corn. A touch disappointing.

Mediumlight body with moderate carbonation. Fine.

This is an okay lager that probably does a decent job for macro drinkers. Not my style.

Attractive golden color but a short-lived foam in the Bons Voeux chalice. Pleasant beery aroma. Sparkly carbonation on the tongue. A sharp note, but more like club soda. Little or no trace of bitterness, but there's a twiggy note.

Mineral tang and a slight malty sweetness. Seems thick in the mouth for a light lager. Not very flavorful, though less offensive than the typical Euro lager. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

Had a Ball jar at Ned Ludd as dinner started up. This is a cool, simple beer. It appeared a clear straw gold with a short white head. The aroma and flavor have a mix of pale, barely toasted barley and lightly fruity lager character. It tastes like an all-malt layer or pre-Prohibition American pilsner. There's nothing crazy, just a clean, honest beer.

A thanks goes out to the sultan of canned beer, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a light golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is sweet, malts, grains. Taste is malts, grains, hints of lemon, little of the sweetness in the aroma. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a refreshing beer on a summer night.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a thin white head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of light sweet malt, grain, hints of melon and citrus. Flavor light biscuit malt, grain, European hops, hint of lemon citrus. Light to medium bodied. A nice biscuity lager with some pleasant fresh grain and hints of melon and citrus. Although this hews closely to a traditional light lager formula, the malt is more robust and flavorful and there are other interesting light flavors in the background. Light lagers are not my favorite style, and I wasn't expecting much, but this one won me over and I enjoyed this quite a bit. I'd return to this readily if in the mood for this style.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear, bright, golden yellow with a tall, fluffy, white head that had very good retention and moderate lacing.

The aroma was mostly nice grain with a nice yeast presence and smooth hopping. The flavor profile was similar, a good blend of grain, hops and yeast.

The body was nice and crisp. Drinkability was very good, the beer went down very easy and I'm having a second one. Overall, a very nice beer. Worth trying if you're in the gorge or see it on tap somewhere.

Poured into a Coors tumbler glass.

Look : Haze, pineapple color, 80% opaque. Head is large at 3 fingers and then recedes to a creamy ring about 1/2 finger.

Smell : Orange, blueberry, biscuit malt, yeast. Faint aroma.

Taste : Hoppy with grapefruit rind, orange rind, biscuit. Has a nice yeasty finish. I'd have this again.

Feel : Creamy but still poppy and bubbly. Nice balance of carbonation and creaminess. Dry finish.

Overall : I'd drink it again. It's a nice refreshing lager especially on a night like tonight.
