a west coast IPA
Light amount of creamy white head. Medium amber appearance. Rather light amount of medium light toasted caramel malt, with an equal amount of floral perfumed hops, for the aroma. Medium light bodied. Fairly biting, grapefruit peel and a little medium toasted malt, for the taste. A not very biting, grapefruit peel flavor, for the finish.

Pours a fairly clear light amber with thick, fluffy head.

Smell is fruity and a bit sweet and dank. Notes of melon, peach, gummy candy, pineapple and vanilla.

Taste is fruity and crisp with a clean, moderate bitterness. Notes of melon, grapefruit, peach pine and a bit of sweetness. Great balance, and insanely drinkable.

Mouthfeel is medium, sticky and well carbonated.

Overall, a great IPA, well made and easy to drink.

12oz can poured into a Sam Adams PP. Beer pours out golden and nearly clear with a huge fluffy head. Moderate malt presence with west coast vibes of grapefruit and pine. Smooth and hoppy with a pop of present bitterness in a somewhat grassy sense. Floral notes of citrus and fruity rind. Overall a very decent traditional IPA.

12oz can dated 2/22/21 poured into a Teku on 3/14/21.

Pours 2" of frothy white head. Translucent golden color.

Strong pine aroma upfront with some grass and biscuit scents behind it. A little hint of citrus.

Flavor is more pine with a stronger level of biscuit and grass. A lot of bitterness in the finish.

Mouthfeel is astringent and effervescent. Light-to-medium bodied.

A classical West Coast IPA with a nice touch of grass and bitterness. Much less tropical and juicy than Lush; more like Bear Republic's Racer 5.

A: Copper orange with off white head
S: Dank piney grass and a hint of citrus
T: Great old-school hops are very well balanced with little perceptible butter until after the sip. No tropical fruit notes here, nothin but green goodness. Nothing overwhelming, and a pleasant bitter lingers.
Mf: Mild carbonation contributes to the balance. No sticky sweetness and finishes rather clean.
Overall: Dang, what a breath of fresh air from the modern mosaic and citra driven IPAs. Really really nice to taste the og hops.

L: A stellar inch white head forms, tight, creamy, and retained long. A luminous orange-yellow and a bit murky. Appears smooth and balanced. Carbonation just barely visible.

S: Hops and bitters, followed by a sharp citrus quick to sweeten over. Maybe some nectarine? A honey-like gentleness at the end. Dank in the way a well maintained golf course smells.

T: Mellow citrus and grass. Strikingly fast in development and does not linger. Hops and malt working together. after the classic citrus and juice, it lends way to honey biscuit flavors.

F: Creamy for an IPA but still sharp and crisp. Beautifully soft on the finish.

A holistic approach to the American IPA. Juicy, Orangey, and full of hops, but in Interurban , all these elements seem to help each other rather than battle for dominance. This is a beer any person could enjoy whether they like IPAs or not. It is modestly sweet and crisply refreshing. For hot summer yardwork or casually with dinner. Exceptional.

PKG05/02/20. Definitely more pungent than Lush, which I’m comparing this to. Heavy, dank hop profile with a resinous, bitter, dry finish. Sways old school versus Lush. Some sweetness lingers but this is all dankness.
