This place is my home away from home! It's a convenient location, well priced, comfy seating, and knowledgeable staff. Dogs and babies are welcome. You can bring your own food. They usually have pretzels available, and sometimes apples as well. Not a pretentious place at all. Lots of happy beer drinkers drinking beer and being happy about it. Fabulous place to fill your growler. The staff cares about beer, and want you to have a great drinking experience. The only down side is, this place has become so popular, it gets too crowded when the weather is nice. So get lost! Leave regulars like me alone so we may drink in peace.

Seriously, here is what you get: a kid- and dog-friendly drinking atmosphere, crowds when the weather is decent, really good beer, pleasant staff who care about what they are doing, nice Randalls, reasonably comfortable seating, trendy location.

What I wish they would change or do differently: be closer to where I live. Oh, wait - - I should move.

Place is in a very hipster neighborhood. Bicycles parking is plentiful, and car parking is not. The place is relatively large indoors with two separate bar areas and two seating areas, as well as some kind of mini stadium seating section between the two. Outdoor seating is also plentiful and is covered. But, even with the large amount of seating options, the place is still relatively full due to it's quality beers. There is a large mix of people from older people that were sitting next to us talking about beer, to a few people sitting by themselves reading books, to a woman behind us who was breastfeeding. So yeah, it was kind of all over the place.

Quality of the establishment is, again, hipster. Very colorful interesting wall art. The tables were sturdy benches for community style seating in the middle of the indoor area, whereas the edges had smaller booths. Outdoors there was a good bit of foliage around surrounding the beer garden. I wouldn't say the place looked brand new but it was neat, tidy and layed out well.

Service was top notch at the bar. There are no bartenders so if you want a drink, you'll have to go up to the bar and grab it yourself. However, there was never any wait (even on what looked like a busy evening) and the bartenders were very nice and friendly.

Selection of draft beer was solid. It was primarily IPAs and saisons, but there were porters and stouts available as well. Couple of interesting things to note is that the two separate bar areas where you can order drinks actually have slightly different options. I'm guessing this is primarily due to how many tap lines are available. The one small negative I have is regarding the selection of to-go beers. There were only 4-5 can/bottle options from what I recall and none of them were the offerings that I was interested in. Growler and howler fills were available (and for a favorable price) but for someone that's very far from out of town and who wanted to take something back, there wasn't much of a selection.

Food wise, I wasn't sure there was a menu (I didn't look for one), but there were some complimentary pretzels and apples you could grab to snack on

Overall, I really enjoyed this place. In Seattle it was one of my top two breweries that I enjoyed (along with Cloudburst) and I would recommend this place to anyone (beer enthusiast or just a casual drinker).

Indoor/outdoor beer garden. Limited seating inside but a great vibe all around. Has two bars with a good selection. They have both water and pretzels in help yourself areas. Dog friendly.

Visited on a Wednesday after lunch. Slow.

Not overly impressed based on the great reviews I had read. The lack of food should be made clear when reading the web site. No Wi-Fi either.

V – What has become the typical open space with garage doors to the outside. Two bars on either side of a large space connected a nice outdoor area with cover from the sun if needed. Flowers, etc. Beards and tattoos (maybe that should be the name of my band?) 4

Sel – Really just about the hoppy beers during my visit. Not even a saison. No guess taps. 3.5

Ser – No table service. Generally friendly, but maybe the Northwest is different than the South and Mid-Atlantic where I spend most of my time. No public wi-fi (bummer!). How’s a man supposed to day-drink and work at the same time? 3.5

Q – Not a fan of the glasses that are shaped like a beer can, which seems to be the preferred contained unless the ABV on your choice of brew begins to rise. Clean and bright. 4

F – None – apples and pretzels for free.

The outdoor beer garden is huge and always a good time in the summer, its right on the water too. It helps that this place makes the best beer Ive ever had, literally. The majority is going to be pale ales, but their normal oatmeal stout is great, and their barrel aged stuff is insanely delicious.
