Enjoyed on tap at Hopleaf in Chicago.
Poured into a pint glass, it's a somewhat hazy gold with a single finger of foam and lots of lacing as I drink it.
Great aroma with plenty of floral and grass and a hint of citrus.
Man, this tastes amazing! All kinds of flavors going on. Sweet citrus, pineapple, grass, some cracker sweetness, white pepper, and a pleasant, mild, lingering bitter.
This is a VERY smooth beer. It almost felt creamy on my palate.
Overall, just excellent. Great beer.

Pours a very pale, hazy yellow, an appearance I'd normally associate with witbier, with a generous topping of white foam. Nice gloppy lacing and great head retention.

Smells surprisingly bright and hoppy, with a lot of floral and grassy notes.

Good flavor, but a bit lighter on the palate than I was expecting. A little thin bodied and quite dry, but this one has a really pleasant, well balanced hoppy finish. Not very bitter at all, but just enough for the overall lightness of the malt. Grassy and lemony, with a bit of a peppery herbal tint. The malt is pretty unremarkable, very clean and unobtrusive, clearly intended to showcase hops without getting in the way. The more I drink it, the more peppery flavor I'm getting. It really shares a lot of characteristics of a witbier, in terms of mouthfeel and a strangely peppery tingle in the finish. It's a really well-made beer, and something I'd want to drink while relaxing on the beach in the middle of summer. Not the cheapest beer at $6 a bottle, but it is good. Artistry is usually expensive.

Quality beer right here. It's not often one I'll pick up, but I enjoy it when I do.
