Style: American Amber / Red Ale

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 7.20%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
Our take on an American amber ale. Complex malt bill delivers notes of dark raisin, chocolate and biscuit. Copious additions of American hops yield notes of pine and citrus.

Taste is pine, tangerine, toasted malt, and some wet hopping. Decent, above average amber that borders on IPA but is a bit sweeter. Good beer to try, but I prefer others in the style.

A pretty good beer. Just like any other beer not named Lunch by MBC, it sits on the shelf for weeks so availability is never an issue. The issue is that with better beers available, it's not worth the price tag.

Delete than expected. Less than an inch head with fine lacing.
Smells piney and citrus with very little toast.
Taste likes an IPA, but milder. Looks can be deceiving, but this was good beer.
