Poured from a bottle into a tulip

A. Pours a mostly transparent golden amber with a 2 finger white foamy head that last for about 2 minutes then has a nice lacing around the glass.

S. Citrus peel and pine fill the nose. Slight sweet malts to accent the hops. Smells nice.

T. A very clean APA. You get some of that citrus and pine from the hops and then some sweetness with it followed by some nice bitterness. It has a floral presence about it. A nice APA with some different elements than I expected after the aroma. Very well put together. It brings alot of qualities as other IPA/APA's but they really hit highlighting the overall balances of flavors in the beer.

M. A nice body for an APA. About a 4 on a scale 1-10 for thickness. It's almost juicy. Slight dry finish like white grape juice. Carbonation is spot on. Hits the tongue at first the lingers on the palate after the swallow.

O. A really well put together APA. Pretty much everything in this beer is done very well and obviously was aimed at perfection. Many APA/IPA's out there now focus on flavor and aroma which are prob the two most important factors but MBC did a great job at mouthfeel and everything just kinda comes together as an overall very enjoyable beer. Well done.

This is my second time having lunch, but first time on tap. This experience was much better. The beer is a beautiful clear gold with a nice bit of lacing as I drank it. The smell was fabulous, with tropical fruits, melon, and tangerines all hitting your nose. The taste is very similar. West coast style, with an in your face amount of hops that hit your taste buds. Nice sweet tangerines notes along with some orange hit you before a nice bit of pine and evergreen finish slightly bitter. The feel is slightly over carbonated for my taste, but not a big issue. Overall, a great ipa.

I liked it but it just doesn't hit me like some of the other killers in the category. Stopped at the brewery and had a great time, good people.
