16.9-ounce bottle poured into a tulip.

Appearance: Great-looking beer. Dense, glowing orange color with a huge white head that sticks around forever. Lots of lacing.

Aroma: Lots of fruit flavors coming through on the nose, with an underlining pine accent. There's grapefruit, pineapple, apricot, lemon, and some pear. Also a nice toasty aroma in the background.

Taste: The taste follows the nose, with the fruity accents - grapefruit and pineapple seem to lead the way - the most present. Tasty IPA.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Slightly thick for an IPA.

Overall: I'd describe this beer as up to the hype. It's kind of a blow-the-budget treat, but it's worth it. One of the best IPAs from the East Coast, I'd say.
