Super clear beer, breaks the norm of the north east coast ipa which is a nice change of pace. Good hop aroma. Taste is clean with some malt forward sweetness. Hops come through also, west coast style hops, mango and floral characteristics with a hint of pine. Mouthfeel is a tad on the thin side.

Was expecting a little more. This is a good beer, but below other north east ipas to me, read heady, sip, Bissell, foundation, and trillium.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with a chalk white head. Great lacing.

Smell is tropical fruit. Mango, pineapple, peaches. Supported by a nice crackery malt backbone. Pine resin begins to creep up from the depths.

Taste begins with tropical fruit, moving into pine resin and a pith bitterness that lingers. Mango and pineapple prevail. The malt provides a nice backbone for the hops to play off of. Great balance with a slight lean towards bitter, tropical hops.

Mouthfeel is light and slightly creamy. A mango pith bitterness is slightly present, providing a drying of the palate.

Overall a great beer. Light on the nose, but great on the taste. Personal taste would prefer a juicier IPA without the dryness.

16.9 oz bottle poured into shaker pint bottle dated 6/16/15

A: Nice soap creamy head with an amber light haziness to the look

S: Smells like an orange rind with a lot of biscuity malts maybe a touch of toffee and a little sweetness

T: Nice bit of orange citrusness and good maltiness that has some sweetness to it. However, the flavor disappears quickly and you need another sip to reacquaint yourself.

M: very light body with a clean crisp flavor profile that does not linger

O: I'm quite pleased how this held up being as old as it is, while I think fresh the citrus might have been brighter and the malts dialed back I am really enjoying the malty finish maybe a little age has provided this beer. The drinkability of this beer is out of sight.

Appearance: It has a beautiful light golden/orange color to it. It has a nice white head that dies down moderately and leaves nice lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of dank pine resins, citrus, grapefruit, floral undertones and some bready malts.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has a some dank pine resins, some grassiness, citrus and floral undertones and sweet bready malts.

Mouthfeel: It has a low-med carbonation with a very nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied by great flavors and aromas. Another great beer from Maine Beer Company!
