Style: American Pale Ale (APA)

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.00%

Notes / Commercial Description:
Our first run at an American Pale Ale. Flavors and aromas of zesty citrus, passionfruit, and pine present themselves throughout. A very subtle malt sweetness for balance, but this is intended to finish dry.

Pours heady translucent orange. Smell is dark tropical fruit and malt. Taste is tropical fruit, fruit rind, and hefty malt balance. Feel is slightly thin and dry. Bitterness translates into nondescript bitter note in taste, and not in a good way. Not bad, but not as high quality as I expected from Maine Brewing Company. A little rough around the edges. Smell is phenomenal and does not translate into taste at all.

On tap. Pours a yellow oramge with slight white head. Smells of pine with a little citrus. Tastes of pine, citrus, and a solid malt backbone. Medium body. Clean finish. Very drinkable.

Pours hazy orange with a strong smell of pine and little bit of malt. Taste begins a lot like the nose but descends into a combination of oranges and maybe a little mango. Despite the price and how much of a pain it is to get, MO is turning into one of my favorite beers.

Beautiful. Citrusy. Balanced. Velvety. Truly unique?

good clean pale ale with a nice finish. had out of the bottle. about a month old. had a good head and the look was a light golden, relatively clear. I would drink this again but it did feel like many of the solid pale ales I have had in the area.
