Brewed by:
Maine Beer Company
Maine, United States

Style: American Pale Ale (APA)

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.00%

Availability: Rotating

Notes / Commercial Description:
Our first run at an American Pale Ale. Flavors and aromas of zesty citrus, passionfruit, and pine present themselves throughout. A very subtle malt sweetness for balance, but this is intended to finish dry.

A: hazy; honey colored; 2 finger pillowy, white head that receded slowly to a very thick cap; nice lacing;

S: tropical fruit is most prominent with pale malt in the background;

T: grapefruit all the way through with grapefruit rind bitterness from mid-palate through the finish;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation;

O: the astringency of the bitterness is a bit much, but that's my only complaint;

Most reviews in the 4+ range are all on point with my feelings. I have yet to have Zombie Dust, but for the Pale Ale options I have had, this one is easily number one. I found all of mine with a $6.50 price tag, so for a pint plus a few ounces I wasn't bummed. Grabbed a handful to bring back South.

It's refreshing, has a solid body and leaves you wanting more. Kudos MBC.
