V: Everything was very chill, there is a very relaxed and friendly environment not to mention the aesthetic is consistent and the building is beautiful
Q: everything is well maintained, the food is great (though portions are admittedly small), and the place is clean and welcoming
S: staff are very polite, helpful and friendly
S: selection is admittedly limited but let's be honest nobody is wandering in here from the road not knowing what their in for, this is a place you go because you mean to go there, great overall would highly recommend

The vibe that this place puts off is off the hook. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a flyte of several beers and the company of two different sets of complete strangers who were touring Maine Breweries as we were. The staff was extremely polite and helpful even though they were getting slammed. There wasn't one beer that we tried that we didn't like, and price to quality ratio is in the customer's favor. This will be one place that we visit every time I travel back home to visit my family

Just visited, and eeeehhhhh. Pro's: very clean, efficient. Con's: No growler fills, beers were pricey, and nothing else to sample outside pale ale and iPa's. Read their reviews and was disappointed, imo

Pulling in and seeing the big solar panels and the brick oven pizza truck is glorious. The inside is small but easy to get a taste or full glass. 8 options available including the always delicious lunch

A 15-minute or so drive from downtown Portland. Traffic in Maine is never much of a thing, even if the locals say otherwise.

You know about MBC's beers: they're awesome. If you like them, you should stop here. They don't sell growlers, sadly, but they always have plenty of bottles for sale at a significant discount versus what they cost in shops. Lunch (the beer, not the meal) is typically available, but not always. Dinner and other highly coveted beers are sold ONLY during specially designated release periods.

If you're staying around to drink, all beers cost 5 bucks per 12 ounce pour. They typically have all of their regular offerings on tap.

The vibe is very Maine-y. The place looks and feels more like a house than a production brewery. There's a big porch and yard where you can drink outside (with your dogs, if you want) and you can see the brewery through the taproom. Everyone is very friendly and service is prompt.

My only complaints is that the bottle prices, while cheaper than stores, are still pretty high. They also don't typically have anything on tap that you can't find bottled. That's good and bad, I guess, since you avoid mad scrambles for rare releases, but I also like being able to try new stuff when I visit a brewery. Overall, though, this is an excellent brewery and visiting makes for a pleasant drinking experience.

Walked in on a summer afternoon. Not much selection left as far as bottles. Was kind of looked at by the guy behind the counter as "what are you doing here?". He handled the purchase a bit perfunctory . Maybe I was there at a bad time.

You will know you're there by the giant standalone solar arrays to the side of their building. As with their label art style, the sign to the entrance is very minimalist, and with the semi-busy nature of the main road, you're better off looking for these fixtures. Small but modern and clean interior with a window overlooking the brew operations. A couple of bench style seats inside with a few picnic tables outside, it's a very mellow place to chill and have a drink in broad daylight, but would not handle the crowd of a typical trendy bar.

Beer selection is fairly limited, but very high quality. They keep things pretty streamlined so you're always going to have the opportunity to discover both the nuances and larger differences of one IPA to the next. Food is very minimal, which basically comes down to snacks. Tons of their brews are on sale in coolers, fresh and ready for those looking to stock up.

Besides the delicious beers I had been told to expect, I was pleased to find a wood fired pizza oven, coolers containing singles as well as cases, and a good number of tables, a few indoors, several outdoors. It seemed like 40% of their business there is people picking up beer rather than sitting down for one (and I was there on a Saturday), so don't worry about getting a table.

First beer release campout. Everyone was friendly and chill. Lots of great trading going on. Shot gunning Brights! Beer is excellent. One of the best I have ever had!
