A cheap beer with a fairly low alcohol content. The beer has a reassuring golden color. The only positive thing about the flavor itself is that there's at least some kind of taste in it, which is a reminiscent of stale crispbread. Could not even drink up the whole 50 cl beer can.

The colour is straw yellow; the liquid is clear. The two finger high foam is white and airy. Minimal lacing occurs.

Fresh bread and dough dominates the smell. Some minerals and metal. Light notes of malt and chemical bitterness.

The taste is quite light. Metals, minerals and a touch of moss. The malt is very light, as is the bitterness. Notes of wheat flour and unclean hops in the aftertaste. Some yeast and earthy flavours in the finish.

The carbonation is medium to strong, the fresh bubbles are small. The liquid is watery.

A dull pilsner, probably made from second-rate ingredients.

Brewer Pils, ABV: 3.5%.
500 ml can, 38.95 SEK à 6-pack at Maxi ICA Stormarknad.

A: Yellow to golden liquid, with a white, airy, cheesy, off-putting foam.

S: Irregular smell of mandarin, dish soap, and hints of dry hops.

T: A sense of citrus fruits, bread, toffee, and some hops, mixed with a dry, metallic or chemical, off-taste.

M: Light and soft body, with some bitterness, and a somewhat dry, paper-y aftertaste.

O: A cheap take on a Czech pils, designed for the Swedish supermarkets, which is drinkable because of the lighter body and a decent share of hoppy bitterness. But it has a lot of weird, rather unpleasant features.
