Overall a little disappointing. It is a good beer, but not great. The smell is pretty dull, feel is a bit thin, and I would prefer my double IPAs to be a bit hoppier. There are a lot of other DIPAs in OK that put this to shame.

Pours a slightly hazed orange/chestnut with 3 fingers of tan head. Never clears completely, great head retention & lacing

S: Cakeyness, mango, pineapple, nose fades away a bit

T: Follows the nose, powdery dryness as well up front, grapefruit pith as well. Grapefruit, pine, cakeyness,& mango as this warms, a little dryness as well, a little lemongrass too. Finishes with grapefruit, cakeyness & pineyness, then more mango & pineapple

MF: Medium bodied, slightly over-carbonated. Nice balance

Drinks easy, best beer I've had from these guys. Might have to buy more since they are ACTUALLY making it in Oklahoma now. I could be wrong, but I'm betting this beer will not age well, I bet when the hops slide off the edge, this will be a mess

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a medium brown color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is dominated by tropical fruits. Taste is tropical fruits, resin, malts, medium bitterness, alcohol is well hidden. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

On tap at McNellie’s OKC. Pours the color of a toasted penny with some haze. Minimal off-white head that dissipates quickly, but leaves lots of lacing. Big aroma of grapefruit and pine with a touch of malt. Grapefruit and pine resin predominate the taste, and the malt is really balanced. The hops provide just the right amount of bitterness. Medium mouth that’s a bit oily and coats the tongue well. This is a very good DIPA, and will definitely find its way to my home once it’s released to stores.

A ruddy brown pour results in one-finger of tan froth. Smells of apricot and caramel...basically. Has a big malt middle followed by lingering herbal hops and unbalanced toward the sweet side. Medium in body, somewhat dry and lifeless.

Sometimes wonder if breweries do there homework? Not near undrinkable, just really near extremely blah, and sometimes I don't know what's worse.
