This is the place to be if you are West Virginia University fan. The owner is a WVU Alum and proud of it! Every weekend they televise the WVU football games, and will televise the basketball games. On Sundays this turns into a Pittsburgh Steelers fanbase. My first time here was during the WVU vs Rutgers football game. Upon walking in the door, Eric the bartender yelled over the crowd and invited me to have a seat...I had never been here! Then, at halftime, a patron took an autographed Pat White jersey off his back, and put it up for auction (all proceeds go toward a WVU scholarship fund). Another patron bid $250, gave it back to the bar and had it framed to hang on the wall so visitors could see it as they enter. Just an awesome atmosphere, great service, decent food. The beer selection is ok, but I'm telling you if you're an NCAAF fan, this place rocks on Saturdays! They have a great New Years package deal, and will be hosting the WVU vs. OU party for the Gator Bowl Jan. 1, 2010!!

This is one of my neighborhood bars. I live right around the corner and I frequent this establishment nearly every weekend.

The staff is very nice. Eric, the owner is there nearly every weekend night and is very sociable. It is very easy to become acquainted with the friendly staff.

The outdoor patio is the reason to visit this bar. Live music on weekends, cornhole and a dog friendly area make this one of the nicest patio spots in town.

They have nightly specials on food as well as special events. Cigar tastings, wine tastings and beer tastings are a few examples of the events held here monthly.

The beer selection is decent but nothing extraordinary. They have a few good beers available in bottles such as Dead Guy Ale. The micros on tap seem to rotate but Ive seen UFO hefe, flying dog and hop hound, among others.

Gresso's is a very friendly casual place to go relax on a nice weekend night, just dont expect to find any rare brews and you will be pleasantly surprised.
