This is the 5th Total Wine I visited thus far. They are for the most part, the same from location to location.

When I'm in the mood to try new beers or breweries, I tend to gravitate towards Total Wine. As many of you know, they sell singles! I hate to buy 4/6 packs or even bombers when I don't know if I'm going to like a particular beer or not. So, if breweries have 12oz bottles, I'll mix and match them.

I think their selection is pretty diverse. My one pet peeve is that I prefer if they would organize beers by breweries rather than styles.

There's a walk-in cooler in the back, that is sometimes filled with goodies.

The prices are good. I found some local breweries represented at this store. Nice.

Overall, this is a solid store.

There are two chain specialty alcohol stores in my area, Total Wine and BevMo. I think Total Wine does a way better job than BevMo. They have a better selection and better prices. This Total Wine did have a few beers I have not seen in other Total Wine stores, which is nice to see a business stocking local products. It's a typical Total Wine. I was there for about 40-45 minutes shopping and not a single person asked me for help but one can be occupied enough just browsing the selection.

This place is a little hard to find but they have a good selection of Beer.Customer service is non-existent and the people there don`t seem to care.I found several I was looking for.Two from lost Abbey,and.Clown-shoes undead party crasher,Stone Milk Stout ,The Bruery-Tart of Darkness{very expensive}overall it was a long trip for me but worth it.You can mix 6-packs there and that is a big plus.

This store is another solid Total Wine location in the SoCal area. The beer section is large with some in coolers and most on the shelf. The service is average. This particular location had bottles from local breweries that I haven't seen in any other Total Wine which is a plus. I wouldn't think twice about stopping in again if I was in the area.

I gotta start by saying that if you come to total wine make sure you take your time in choosing your beer cause total wine has a big selection of craft beer and their prices are reasonable. My first time i came here i didnt know where to start then i walk in to a aisle and saw that you could get a mix six pack I took like almost an hour to make up my mind. Most of my had's i got from total wine. go craft beer. the staff is very nice and helpful. The best thing about total wine is that you could make your own six pack. CHEERS

Big fan of the total wine chain, I was first introduced to thi place at their northridge store. Love that this one is closer to me. Great selection of beer(separated by style witch makes things easy if you want to teach people new styles), liquor, and wine. Bigger selection and lower prices than other chain stores. They get a good amount of speacial releases witch makes my pallet happy. I do feel the staff is a little less knowledgeable and helpful than other stores I've been to, but that won't stop me from shopping here.
-cheers for good beer

Outstanding selection. They carry just about every Southern California brewery along with a wide selection of others around the country. There is a lot to take in so plan on spending a bit of time just walking the isles. They like to stash new/seasonal/rarities in random places all over the huge store so make sure you ask or look carefully if you are looking for something specific. The one downside about this place is, like all Total Wine stores, they organize the place by style and not by brewery, which makes finding things challenging sometimes. Overall a great store though.

I like this one a bit more than the Brea store.

Atm- A nice large well lit industrial space with a large wood and metal feel inside.

Quality- They arent a specialty shop like some in the area but they do carry an impressive selection at times of some new releases and well known brands and breweries.

Service- Can be hit or miss. Some know their stuff and some don't. Same could be said of any retailer. Most of the time, friendly and quick to answer a question

Selection- Single bottles being the draw here. Being a craft beer drinker with friends who aren't really allows me to buy what I want and not spend a ton doing it buying all the 6 packs. I can buy what I want, drink it and go back for more on a more regular basis. The selection is nice with a lot of local craft, and even a large belgian selection. Stone, Bruery, Bootleggers, Kern, Lost Abbey, Firestone Walker and many many others.

what i truely love about this total wine is the location/ ease of finding it...its right off the i-15. it is because of this alone, i have to stop by and see what they have everytime i head into southern california. the atmosphere in this store seems a little more radiant...maybe more windows or the sun was sleeming in dont know. selection was pretty good. not as many rarer/harder beers available, quite possibly be a higher volume store. not many out of stocks, and the staff was eager to help when asked, not offering though. all in all its a great store and will always be a returning customer.

Very nice feel to the place walking around inside. Wine racks seem like they're everywhere and it's a big space to fill. Lots of room in the aisles and very well lit.

Craft and imported beer line one entire aisle plus some of the fridge space. Plenty of special release and seasonal offerings. Older viscosity, angels share, oak aged yeti and lots of others. Fairly pricey for those sort if bottles but the standard stuff is as cheap as you'll find.

Not sure you'll need any other bottle shop if you are in the area. Might be nice to check some if the specialty shops just out of interest but this place seems to have it all.

Awesome selection of 6-packs, singles, and bombers. The place is mostly wine, but the beer selection was not too shabby at all. The place is well lit and very spacious. Nice wide aisles, and the beers are arranged in a very easy to find system.

They offer lots of tasting events and classes on-site. The staff was helpful when we could find them. Also, a lot of the shelves were empty where beer was advertised to be there. Only a couple actually had "Out of Stock" signs over them. Other than that, the service was good.

All in all, it was a productive trip. They had a great selection at decent prices, and I walked out with a shit-ton of beers that I had been looking for. Looking forward to a return trip.

This place is great! They have a huge selection of wine, good selection of liquor, and a fantastic selection of craft beer. They sell singles of craft beer that you can take & build a six pack with, and the prices are excellent. Just about everything there is 1-3 dollars less than Bevmo, and Ive always found there beer to be fresh! The place is very clean with a nice small selection of the craft beer in the refrigerator section.

The bathrooms are kept up as well.
There service is the average, did you find everything okay question. Nothing impressive but nothing bad at all. Overall I love it, I'm always coming back to this place for my usual beer haul.

This is a chain new to California and one that if it expands will give BevMo a real run for the money! The beer selection is spectacular, both in single bottles and in 4 and 6 packs. There is generally a far better selection than BevMo and much greater quality and many more hard to find brews.

This is actually a place worth taking a ride to visit (and especially if you want wine...has to be one of the best wine stores in the country). But, the beer selection is great and the prices are right.

Worth a special trip!

Another in a chain of stores that has started to pop up around California. Way better than the other chain liquor store emporium we have around here in more abundance (BevMo). They have a much larger selection of everything liquor. They seem to get alot of the limited releases that the smaller places get as well. Service feels like your at a chain place and everything is so new and shiny it feels like a chain place as well. So better than bevmo but I think I will stick with the mom and pop places.

I might as well copy and paste my review of the Total Wine in Tustin, because like that location, this location has a lot of beer, sells their beer in singles, and has dirt cheap prices. One thing seperated this location though; a selection with a few more oddballs. Okay...and the fact the IE isn't as beer wealthy as the OC.

Most of the beer is found at store temp, though there is a small section of refrigerated beer. Beer from Mikkeller, Nøgne Ø (several varieties), Moylan's, Hangar 24, Victory, Bear Republic, Hacker Pschorr, BrewDog, Lost Abbey (including Older Viscosity, Cuvee de Tommie, and Angel's Share), Jolly Pumpkin, Deschutes (including The Abyss), Blue Frog, Sprecher, St. Bernardus, La Trappe, Orval, Maui, Avery, Allagash. Tons and tons of California brewries, even smaller guys like Eel River, Santa Cruz Brewing, Coronado.

If that isn't enough, they sell 90 Minute IPA by the case! Lots and lots of quality six-packs, as well as "by the case".

The prices are legendary. Who walks away with Hangar 24 Orange Wheat in the six-pack format for just $7.99? It's $10 even at the brewery! And $7.99 for Anchor Christmas Ale in the six-pack? That's also going for $10 at other places.

Cashier tried to sell me even more beer at checkout. Discounted six-packs of fall beer were there....$5.49 for a sixer of Paulaner Marzen? I....must....resist....

In short, an awesome store. Probably the best selection in the Inland Empire, including La Bodega (Riverside) and Old Town (Temecula).

Very surprised at the level of selection beer being a self-professed wine store. Honestly, I can't think of another location with more selection. Lots of US micros, mostly west coast. Quite a bit of belgians and other Intl stuff too. Particularly like the "seasonal" section.

The only area of criticism would be that they don't seem to ever have a good beer geek on staff to answer questions. They tend to focus their expertise on wine. Pretty bad when the patrons are schooling the staff. Great joint though, hang there often.

This store just opened here in Rancho Cucamonga, and I visited during their first week. Wow! This place is like a Home Depot for booze, wine and beer (well, mostly wine) The sign out front claims that 1000 different beers can be found in the store. Out of that I'd say maybe 80% are interesting, high-quality brews. When I originally wrote this review, I said "The staff, for the most part, don't know s**t about beer, but they are enthusiastic and friendly." Well, I have since been in about half a dozen times and I must say that there is at least one person in the store who really knows and appreciates good beer. His name is Ed (I think he's the manager of the store). If you're looking for something special he's worth looking up. The attitude here seems to be "If we can possibly get it, we'll stock it." The prices are lower than I've seen anywhere for good beer, and the quality is generally very high. In my original review, I wrote "I am especially committed to returning since a staffer informed me (after I asked) that the store is waiting for a shipment of Pliny the Elder...Yipee!" Well, I got it today, so yeah, I'm happy.
This store is an incredible resource for beer lovers...It's what a lot of us, a few years back, hoped that Bevmo would be when it first came to town -- but honestly, there's no comparison.
So, to wrap this up, after a few visits I must say that my initial impression was unjustifiably muted. This store has absolutely no negatives -- It is a great place -- possibly the greatest ever--to shop for beer. I can't believe my luck in that there are only three of these stores in California, and one of them is only two miles from my house!
