Alias of Ægir Påskesol.
Rerate 500 ml bottle 2011, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. The bottles are brewed for Ægir this year (according to the original recipe, with just a minor change) at De Proefbrouwerij in Belgium. Golden colour, hazy if the yeast is poured in. Large white head, nice lacing. The strong aroma has notes of floral and grassy hops (Tettnanger), some fruity and spicy notes too (wheaty hints of cloves). The flavour is medium sweet with some fruity and grassy notes, just a faint hint of caramel. Low bitterness.
Original rating 2010: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, low head, The aroma has notes of ripe yellow fruits, some flowers, toffee and butterscotch. The flavour has a noticeable fruitiness, hints of toffee and butterscotch again, "dry" continental hops in the finish.
