Golden orange pour with a small head that went quickly. Aromas of Orange, zest, malt, and a hint of orange candy, with a nice floural end to it. Tastes are subdued compared to the aroma. It is extremely well balanced so not one the hop heads would go nuts for but what I like in an IPA for sure. I was happy with the flavors and finish which was clean. I was hoping for more floral flavors but very decent none the less. Medium body and a bit overly effervescent and rough on the tongue.

Not too pale for an India Pale Ale, and fairly clear, with minimal head retention and lacing. Aroma is dominated by biscuity malt, with piney and herbal hops in the background - not too far removed from a heavily hopped English IPA. Taste follows the nose, although with citrusy hop flavours added into the mix, and reasonable bitterness towards the end. Mouthfeel is acceptably smooth, with mild carbonation and a certain dryness. Overall a decent attempt at a great style.

Great blanketing lace from a moderate head. Slight haze to the light amber color.

Mild aroma. I detect true flowers as opposed to a floral hop aroma. Lavender?

Crystal malt start--slightly sweet with toastiness. Licorice, bitter hop flavor transition. Moderate aftertaste of white pepper. Rich body with a below average carbonation level.
