Though i don't actually like the Barleywine a whole lot I do have to give it my respect. At 11% this brew not only excels in appearance - both with a good head and and great amber color, but it's smell and mouthfeel are something to be admired. With the aroma of fresh butterscotch beer with an aftertaste of the same, this beer is near and dear to grandmas kitchen during christmas time. Like i said earlier, i am not a big barley wine fan, but i have seen some of my beer loving companions lose it over this drink! Meant to be served chilled in a 12 -10oz belgian style beer glass (or snifter), this brew is excellent for getting in the spirit of the holidays or getting over a hard day at work
