Not a bad little red... Brown with hints of red mixed in, less than a fingers worth of head that settles to a small ring with no lacing to speak of. Very much on the malt side with hints of caramel and a very light earthy hops. Mid bodied with a light clean finish. If you are looking for a malty red this one is worth giving a try.

Pours a half finger of head on a clear, but dark red colored body.
The aroma is a nice wet grain smell.
The taste is big on the malt side, though not too sweet. There's some caramel and mild lemon bitterness. Nicely balanced.
The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation.
It's a easy drinking brew.

a real generic American red ale, on the sweet side. this has a rich malty nose of dry red malts and sweet amber ones, the sugar being dominant, and a light toast on everything. tastes like it could have some oatmeal, fuller bodied and smooth in texture. copper and dusty flavors challenge the sweetness unsuccessfully, while the vibrant carbonation percolates on the tongue. the bright feel of this beer is a contrast to its robust sweetness, sort of an odd match, but with a little fuller fermentation, I think this beer would be quite good. for now, its an American red ive had before, and one that does very little for me as it stands. I like the kiss of honey flavor, and the touch of smoke, but the sweetness is just insurmountable for me. overall I really like the cause, but im only so so on the beer.

Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/5 inch head of a white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, hint of hop, hint of yeast, and slight caramel malt. Fits the style of an American Amber / Red Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, hint of hop, hint of yeast, and caramel malt. Overall, decent appearance, but unimpressive aroma, body, and blend.
