Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.

Moving from my buxom redhead to the foxy blonde. This stuff pours a clear golden-straw topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises wheat malt, very light grass, incredibly light lemon peel, and a smidgen of sweet flowers. The taste holds notes of funky wheat, really hard water, old grass, and aging flowers. The body is a hefty light, with a moderate carbonation and a fairly dry finish. Overall, a pretty insipid "pilsner", one that resembles a badly knocked-off Becks clone or something.

12 fl oz brown glass bottle with standard pressure cap served into a conical Guinness pint glass in me gaff in low altitude Los Angeles, California. Bottle acquired as part of the variety box at a local Ralph's market. Reviewed live. Expectations are a bit below average.

Served slightly warmer than refrigerator cold. Side-poured with standard vigor as no carbonation issues are anticipated.

A: Pours a half finger head of no real cream, light thickness, and terrible (~<10 second) retention. Colour is a transparent blonde. Standard fare for the style. Neither unique nor special. Business as usual. No floating yeast particles are visible. Quite yeastless indeed.

Sm: Straw, creamed barley, dog saliva, and stale malted barley. A mild strength aroma. Not appealing or inviting.

T: Clean creamed barley with clean malts. Evocative of straw. A bit stale; certainly not fresh. Very bland, boring, and dull. Balanced, but built without inspiration.

Mf: Smooth and wet. A bit crisp. Perhaps a bit flat. Dull. Doesn't really complement the flavours of the body. Could be so much better. Needs more crispness and vibrance.

Dr: Drinkable but boring and stale. I wouldn't have it again, nor would I recommend it to friends. Dull and bland. Leave this one on the shelf, lads.

Appearance - This poured a hazy orangish-yellow in color with a nice, full, white head that showed good retention and left a film on the inside of my glass.

Smell - This is a soft aroma of light malt with some orange-like grain.

Taste - The orange sweetness that I picked up at the smell gagged me at the taste. The malt is absent and this doesn't even seem like a beer.

Mouthfeel - This is light to medium-bodied with some healthy carbonation.

Sinkability - This was putrid. It was overly sweet, lacked any real malt flavor, and tasted rotten.

Appearance:bright, clear with a long lasting head. The lacing however, fell rather quickly.

Aroma: Rather low grain aroma, no DMS or sweetness present, no real hop aroma.

Taste: no real maltyness presence, no real hop presence, balanced between hops and malt. has a yeasty finish (which i enjoy)

Mouthfeel: on the thinner side but still enough. higher in carbonation. not really creamy.

Drinkability: I enjoyed this beer a bunch. I will be purchasing this again soon.

12oz brown bottle.

Slight fizzle to the head but it stays around, faintly chill hazed yellow color. Lemony, yeasty, grainy aroma though clean for the most part. Ale-like body / mouth feel with a slick crispness. Lemony and grainy throughout, spicy hop bitterness to balance. Yeast goes nutty and actually compliments the grain. Relatively clean after taste.

Not half bad, not as clean or crisp as I would like to see in this lager but again ... not half bad.

Appearance- Body is a fairly clear apple juice color. Continually effervesces, but has a very, very small head (despite an aggressive pour). Lacing is also very short lived. .

Smell- Very nice malt sweetness, with hints of hay, and just enough corn to make it interesting. Very crisp when it's first poured, but starts to get overly sweet and cloying as it warms. Very inviting however.

Taste- Tastes nothing like it smells like. Some malt sweetness comes through in the taste, but a more more vegetative flavor predominates. Flavor is quite thin. A slightly sour after-taste.

Mouthfeel- Light body. Maybe a tad over-carbonated. Probably causes the thin taste.

Drinkability- Ehhh....not awful, but not a great blond either.

Seved on a bottle, poured on a beer mug.Together with grilled fish with some kind of sauce that's sweet and spicy.

Appearance-Piss yellow with a 2 finger gassy head.Lots of carbonation.

Smell-It smelled very malty.Seem to have some kind of fruit characteristic to it.Not much hops that I can smell of.

Taste-Very similar to the beer.Lots of malt and fruit taste.Could taste some hops.No aftertaste.

Mouthfeel.Nothing exceptional,nothing bad.

Drinkability.Very light beer.Good beer for the summer!

Heaps better than it's brother the Red Ale.That was bad!Especially the aftertaste of that beer.

12oz. brown longneck with bottling code printed on bottle below the label. Pours a slightly hazy light amber gold with a 1/2" of white bubbley head that retains well. A small amount of lace sticks as the head eventually recedes.

The smell is sweet and fruity malt with some grassy hop notes and some bubblegum as well.

The flavor is much like the smell with a fairly sweet maltiness upfront, followed by a mild grassy hop that just balances the brew. As it warms a bit, the bubblegum flavor becomes more pronounced and lingers some in the aftertaste. The strange thing about this bubblegum like flavor is that some bottles out of the six-pack had it, a couple of them didn't. The ones that didn't had a wheat type flavor instead...not nearly as sweet.

Nice carbonation with a fairly light body lead to a pleasantly smooth mouthfeel...quite drinkable and mild in the alcohol. Their slogan "Extinguish your thirst" is quite appropriate for this beer. I liked this much better than their Redhead Ale.
