From 3-4 years when I didn't know a thing about this place, to the only place I buy beer OTP. In fact, being that I live OTP, it's pretty much the only place I buy beer at all.

The shop itself is on the smaller side, but they make up for it with an ever-increasing selection of quality craft beers. They regularly stock a massive selection of local and national craft beers (fresh, too). They also pull in a great stash of highly allocated or difficult to find beers (and bourbons). Prices are always competitive, often the cheapest anywhere. Brij, the beer guy, is exactly what you want in a beer guy. He's friendly, knowledgable, and never condescending or rude. He's got a ton of beer knowledge and connections, but never borders on beer snob. He's just a guy who genuinely enjoys craft beer and sharing it with others.

The other thing that makes the place too notch is their social media presence. They keep their Twitter and Instagram constantly updated with the new/cool beers they're getting. They frequently announce release times for limited beers (giving everybody a chance) and even do some occasional beer cellar releases with some super limited bottles and older vintages.

For me, this place is an A+ on all accounts and will remain my local beer spot.

I stopped by Sprayberry Bottle Shop on my way back to Ohio in Jun '16. It's a fairly small shop. The beer section took up about a fifth of the store. Clean and well organized. Stock was fresh. Around noon on a Wednesday, I was the only customer in the shop for a while. I told the guys I was looking for some good local GA stuff to take back home with me. They stopped what they were doing and gave me an excellent rundown of the local beer scene. The day I visited, stock seemed to be a little low. They had a good selection of the standard offerings from several GA breweries, but not much in stock of the more sought after brews. Prices were some of the best I've seen. Prairie Bomb for $6.99! That's the cheapest I've seen it. Besides the local selection, the rest of the beer offerings were about average.

If you get to the store right after they get a local delivery, you'll probably have more luck than I did in finding the more hard to get beers. This store is not too far from I-75. If you are looking for something in particular, I'd call before driving over there. If I was going to make just one stop in the Atlanta area, this would probably not be it. But if I lived in Marietta, it would probably become a go to place for me.

Brij does a great job bringing in top quality craft beer! He is engaged in the scene and wants to bring a wide selection to his customers. If your looking for a top quality craft stop in the Atlanta area to check out a good representation of the local distro this is the place to stop!

I stopped by while in the Atlanta area because I follow the owner on Instagram and saw all the awesome bottles they had at some point. It was well worth it.

I met the owner, and bought around $250 worth of stuff. They had beer I can't find in Tennessee/Alabama, such as the Bruery, and some great finds like Westbrook Gose. After finishing my purchase, he gave me a free The Bruery snifter and 2 passes for the Sweetwater tour with glass (about $27 in free stuff). I came out of there with some amazing beers: Cigar City, Westbrook, Delirium, Old Rasputin, some Trappists, and some nice locals, like an aged Sweetwater and Red Brick. He helped me carry the stuff to my car and gave me a list of some good beer joins in the Atlanta area.

I was excited to find a great bottle shop near where the in-laws live, as we are up there often. We checked their facebook page for hours of operation and found it to be 10-10 most days. We showed up on a Monday as a quick stop before traveling back to Savannah. Upon showing up a little after 10, we found the store locked. Waiting 15 minutes, the owners showed up and opened the store.

Once inside, I noticed that the lighting is a little dark. They have a large selection of liquor, but craft beer is not as extensive as some other shops in Atlanta. I was actually disappointed that the area for the craft beer was not bigger. The quality of the selection is very good. I was able to find many things that I never find at home shops.

The owner is very helpful and has a good knowledge about the beers he stocks. He also helped carry the box out to the car. This is excellent customer service, but I was still put off that the store was not open when it was scheduled to be open.

Overall, I agree with a previous post that this store is not world-class. They do get their fair share of hard to find beers. Also, it is one of about 3 shops in probably a 30 mile radius with a good selection. If I lived in the area, I would probably visit only if I couldn't find things at another shop.

***Addendum as of 11/28/204***

Stopped in with my parents for their cellar release the day after Thanksgiving. The staff was very nice and helpful. They would alert the line as to what things they were out of and provided doughnuts. Despite not having any black note left, I was able to score some rare beers. Their regular selection is very extensive. Updated score to a 4.99 out of 5. I will be visiting them again!

Best selection of craft beer in Marietta. Brij is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about craft beer. Would not go anywhere else in Marietta for my craft brews. I have found craft beers here that I have never been able to find anywhere else (The Bruery, Avery Collaboration Not Litigation, Boulevard limited release). If you are looking for high end or harder to find bottles for your cellar, this is the place to go.

Wish I lived closer. Awesome store and awesome owner. Brij is truly a great guy and I talked to him and his employee for over an hour. He has held beers for me, follows me on instagram, and is more like a friend than a beer store employee. He gets all the good stuff before anyone else. Only problem is it's always in limited quantities but I know it's not his fault. Awesome place. Highest recommendation.

Honestly one of the best bottle shops in the country. I make a point to stop in every time I am in ATL. The owner knows his stuff and does a good job stocking the best selection available. He does not have the selection of Green's but he makes up for it with rare beers.

When it comes to getting your craft beer fix, Sprayberry is the place to go in the Atlanta area. Brij's beer knowledge is beyond amazing and he somehow brings in a better selection than the big retail stores. A huge plus is his cellar. This place is the only bottle shop that I know of that cellars their beer and does a release every year. Plus they put out aged beers all the time. This place is top notch and his devotion to his customers makes this my only go to place.

This place is pretty small, and they don't have much room for a lot of beer, but the small selection they do have is well chosen, and they do seem to get some new releases from time to time. Nowhere near as good as greens or hop city, so not worth going out of your way for. There are some better bottle shops in the area, but this place does ok for it's size. This place gets rated world class, but I disagree. It's nowhere near world class. There are at least 10 reviews of this place on here that is the 1st and only BA post as of the time of my review, so take that factual and transparent info into acount.

SBS is the best booze source I have experienced. Very welcoming/friendly atmosphere and by far the best service. Brij and Chris know more about booze than anyone else I've ever met and their recommendations are always great. It's a small shop so they, understandably, can't stock everything but Brij will gladly place custom orders when requested and text/call you when it arrives. SBS also keeps their FB page constantly updated with new arrivals so it's easy to keep up with what's on the shelves. Doesn't get any better than SBS!

Great selection, very low prices, and knowledgable staff that actually like beer and care about what they're getting in stock. Their regular releases of cellared beer are great too. No other store does this as far as I know. Pretty much my go-to store and I try to stop in at least once a week to see what's new. Their recommendations have never disappointed.

SBS is now the place I go to if I have a chance in the area. It is small and doesn't look like much, but the selection and service are far above anything else in the area. Follow the Facebook page to learn of new selections and ask if you are unsure. I have watched Brij develop this site into a go-to beer destination in East Cobb! Often it is possible to find that beer you are interested in here before the "big boys", like Sherlock's or Bullock's have them. (Sometimes they get items the big boys never get!) A kind words may even get something related for you. :-P

a small mom and pop store that endeavors to be the best that they can be. Sprayberry Bottle Shop is my first go-to for craft beer in East Cobb county. Brij is very knowledgeable and he is always working to find interesting quality craft beers. The service is outstanding. I look forward to dropping in every week when their new shipments come in. There are larger stores in the area that provide the same beers but the service is not even remotely close to that of SBS. Brij, my beer man texts me when a new beer comes in. Where else can you get that service?

This is my go to stop. Love how my beer man looks after his regulars. They go above and beyond. There knowledge of styles and different brewers is top knotch. Selection is pretty darn good and they get all good and new brew. It's small but one thing that really stands out to me, they keep basically everything cold. Managment has done an amazing job with bringing in new stuff weekly. I look forward to beer wednesday, it's my weekly holiday. They recently upgraded the beershelf to bring more goodies. If you are in the area it's a must to stop by

Sprayberry Bottle shop is rapidly expanding it's craft beer selection greatly, and I believe the owners son(supervisor) is really making a effort to get excellent and hard to find craft brews. I used to not shop here, because there was very little selection, but decided recently to check in because I was looking for a particular item, and was presently surprised. and last week, they installed a large shelf system with expanded selections. As on other reviews, their not as much of a quantity store as some of the bigger chains, but they are growing and doing a great job... I have to resist going in sometimes because I'm afraid I will get in trouble with the wife. I recommend to give them a try.

For the past 12-18 months the Sprayberry Bottle Shop has tried to break into the craft beer niche. It's been a slow and to be honest a little painful to watch from time to time. But I went in a month ago and they've turned a corner harder than the time I .... got nothing.

The shelves have plenty of harder-to-find beers that my typical and convenient beer supplier, Sherlock's. In addition, they've started a celler, putting a case or two of tasty treats aside with diligent notes as to the storage and intended release date (normally a year). And according to the very ambitious beer supervisor (and I believe son of the owner) the intent is to only mark up the aged beers by a dollar or two.

If you are interested, they are posting their craft brew offerings on their Facebook page as they come in. Some are standard fair; Lagunitas Red, Terrapin offerings, and such. But there are some nifty finds like Viking Blod, Innis & Gunn Irish Whiskey cask Stout, Thomas Creek Banana Split Chocolate Stout, and barrel aged Old Rasputin. (Cue my brew partner Tony commenting that I'm wrong about at least 2 of these being difficult to find because he know more about beer than I know about my own child)

Additional good news. If you see something you know is going to sell out quickly, you can reserve a bottle or four pack or six-pack or whatever through their Facebook page. This is ridiculously cool.

The only downside of Sprayberry Bottle is that they don't do the volume of business like Sherlock's, Green's or Total Wine so their prices are noticeably higher. YMMV. Cheers!

This is one of the places I stop by almost weekly. It's a pretty small place but Brij, the resident "beer guy" is super cool and knows his stuff really well. He's always happy to make recommendations, put a request on hold or grab a cold version of whatever you're looking at from the back. They don't have the widest selection or even the very best prices overall but the staff (particularly Brij) is awesome and the beer selection is incredibly well rounded considering the limited space. I'm really glad that I've added Sprayberry Bottle Shop to my regular craft beer "haunts".
