12oz bottle, highball glass, 8/8/18 on the rear label, purchased in Korea.
The pour depicted much lighter brown than the ruby-tinted brown just showing light that I find in my glass. The head is appropriately two fingers and tawny.
Cocoa powder, husky and roasted grain.
It drinks like metallic, watery beer tea on the second use of the tea bag. There’s a slight hop bite, some brown maltiness, but all pretense of chocolate vanishes. The finish is clean.
Weak as water and less carbonated than soda water.
Guinness dumbed down even further.

Dark brown black appearance with a foamy beige head and moderate retention. Coffee, cocoa, stone fruit, raisin. Moderate body, light carbonation, smooth and creamy.

The beer that started it all for me. Nothing better than a pint of freshly poured Guinness on tap. Dark and smooth. Dry and delicious. It has no equal.

Appearance: Utterly black colored body, with a robust tan head, somewhat coarse, but with excellent retention. An unbroken sheet of lacing adorns the glass wall.
Aroma: Classic aroma of roasted coffee and chocolate, no alcohol or hop presence.
Taste: Opens dry with bitter cocoa and chocolate notes. As the taste progresses, mild cold coffee carries throughout. Finishes with a mild smoke and earth note, the latter lingers on, mildly.
Mouth feel: Full and soft with modest carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: Simply excellent, a bit hard to distinguish from "regular" Guinness, perhaps a touch bit understated than the "regular" example.
Presentation: Packaged in an 11.2 ounce (330ml) brown glass longneck bottle, sealed with a pry-off crown, served in a Duvel chalice.

Drinking this from a bottle poured into a pint glass.
Appears brown a nice tan head that lasted.
Smells Malty and caramel.
Taste is definitely caramel forward.
Mouth feel is medium for the style,
Overall, a nice stout that I would definitely order again.
