A fantastic beer, great look, smell and taste. I do like the draught but much prefer the extra stout. Great winter beer. And a winner and pure classic. If you like bitter beers with actual flavor then this is for you. Can't go wrong with guinness in my opinion.

I had this from the bottle into a chilled glass. As a coffee lover, I am naturally drawn to dark, roasty, drinks. And Guiness carries all those qualities. Out of the bottle, It pours a silky black with a thin, dark, tan head with lightly present lace. Smells and tastes of toasted bread, coffee and chocolate. Little to no hops present in the nose or mouth. The complex flavour and rich body is what makes this beer superb. If you fancy the bold irish dry stouts. Pairs great with foods such as bratwurst or french oniom soup and any baked good involving chocolate or caramel.

It’s Guinness so you know it’s good. This is my go to beer. Although Guinness is a large company, they’ve been brewing great beer for nearly 300 years. So, although this would be beer that you’d find next to those other companies, it bursts with a full-body flavor that puts those other horse-piss tasting beers to shame.

Not a bit of Irish in me, but I'm a Guinness fan. Although I was always told these Extra Stouts were first brewed in England and exported to India. While it's not as strong as most Stouts I think someone looking for something other than a Pilsner would be fine with starting out on it.

To me the Aroma is that of toasted bread, the taste is malty chocolate with (At this point) very little bitterness. So like I said if youre tired of Pilsners and looking to get your taste buds wet with something different you cant go wrong here. Just follow the rules and drink it from a glass and not the bottle for crying out loud. Some say it must be consumed at room temperature, but to me the colder the better with this one. Save the room temperature for the brown / pale ales.

Anyway thats my opinion. But I could be wrong.
