This is a quite tasty beer, best drank at room temperature. It tastes oddly enough exactly like Strawberry Shortcake. It tastes quality and rich. Would purchase this again. Also love the red and light blue bottle design.

Appearance: Clear, brilliant gold. Fluffy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Floral & herbal hops and bready malt.
Flavor: Spicy/herbal, semi-sweet with low bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, clean dry finish.
Overall: A beer I've drank many times over the years but have never reviewed. First thing that struck me is the lengthy head retention. It's nice looking golden lager in a glass. Interestingly, the can says states it has a fruity nose, but I really didn't pick up on that. Has subtle but notable floral and herbal hops aromas. Spiciness comes out in the flavor. Gives a sweet impression initially but finishes nice and dry. Low bitterness. Good solid

Pours a pale, straw colour with a compact, 2-3 finger white head. Biscuity malt flavours combine with a slight hop bitterness combine to create a taste that is close to a German pilsner (the original brewmaster Guinness employed to create Harp in the 1950s was Dr. Herman Muender, a German brewer). A fantastic lager!

500ml can purchased from the LCBO. Canning date of October 6, 2023. Consumed January 23, 2024. Not terribly fresh, but decent by import standards.
L: Clear golden-yellow hue with a sliver of white foam and strands of lacing on the pilsner glass. Eventually the head and lacing completely dissipate.
S: Mild notes of grainy malt, white bread, and herbal hop. Hint of lemon wedge. Light apple-like fruitiness, with faint corn/DMS notes.
T: Largely follows the nose. Very restrained overall.
F: Light side of medium bodied, crisp carbonation. Subtle bite through middle. Quick, off-dry finish.
O: An inoffensive International Pale Lager, lacking any defined character. There is nothing technically wrong with this beer, but I would much rather have a well-made pils or local craft lager over this middling macro import.

Poured from tap
Clear golden yellow sparkling color, cream head and thick soapy lacing all the way down the glass, thick cap
Not much aroma kind of a and grain scent, best thing I can say is it smelled like a beer
Taste was kind of crisp and very clean tasting again biscuit and malt tastes maybe a hint of spiciness, a tic sweet
Mouthfeel is light and breezy, neutral between bitter and sweet. Medium carbonation very clean feeling
Overall it’s too bad that the taste isn’t up to the level that the appearance is. It’s a great looking lager, brilliant shine and crystal clear. Great lacing and easy to drink. Just a bit thin tasting

500ml Can - It's been a few years since I last tasted this but had 1 recently. Pours a pale straw colour with a 2 finger white foam head. Bready malt and earthy aroma, otherwise metallic. Taste follows the aroma with a gentle sweet finish. Overall, it's fairly underwhelming but drinkable.
