Decent palate washer. Lots of cereal and carbonation. Buying a sixer of this would be pointless at the price. Grabbed as filler in a mix a sixer from kroger.

On tap:
Pours a darker golden, but still nice and clear. Head on hero pour was a film, but that film lasted. Medium rim of white fluff produced snowy lacing.

Nose is lightly grassy bitter notes atop a cereal grainy malt backbone.

Taste follows suit with grassy cereal opening. The sweetness grows to the mid-taste. The grassy bitterness lags until then, but does take over by the end. An ever so slight metallic note slips by as well. Carbonation is lively on this lager that is a little heavier than I recall many American versions.

A fine pale lager, inoffensive and with a bit of flavor that leans (with the lingering notes) to the bitter side of balanced.

Harp is one of my favorite import beers. Just had a pint tonight at one my favorite Irish pubs in the area. I have been to Ireland and when I came across Harp on tap that would be the beer I ordered because it goes down easy. I love a good tasting beer when you can sit down for hours on the stool of the bar and watch whatever game is on the television. It tasted sweet, very smooth and was very delightful. The color looks like barnyard hay. The smell is like the Aerosmith song... sweet emotion. I'm thinking the sweet smell has to be a blend of floral hops or sweet malts. It had a medium body with a tad of carbonation, but overall very refreshing.

Guess I've never had this as a stand alone beer. Usually had Guinness mixed in there. There's really nothing here. Some have said it used to he more, but I'm not seeing anything now.

Standard international lager. Yellow and golden with fizz; crackery and malty. Nothing special. Just a warm weather beer.
