12oz bottle as part of a Belgian series mixed 6pack variety pack release picked up at the brewery. Thanks to Frozensoul 327 for the trade!
Pours with a quick to act head, equally quick to fade out. A sullied amber colour, shades of ruby and tawny brown. A sour yeast, but very soft and unaggresive. A mediocre aroma, notes of blended fruits and yeast. Good tartness to the mouthfeel. No real aftertaste. Taste is fairly light bodied, the whole beer is rather lucklaster. Fails to showcase any real flavour, certainly no malt. I can't see this cellaring well. Disapointing.

A: Deep dark burnt bronze color with no head and low carbonation. Kind of reddish hue when held to the light. A healthy dose of sediment is present.
S: Some barnyard aromas and mild maltiness. Rather bland and plain. Not much going on.
T: Suprisingly enough, this one's got good flavor. Notes of mature malts, rich and full grains, some natural sweetness and earthy flavors. Hops play a supporting role well. Not overly complex but quite enjoyable.
M: Way too flat. Kick up the carbonation. Otherwise, it's rather crisp and fresh.
D: This beer could really be a winner. It's only a step or two away from being a solid offering from the bros. at Kuhnhenn. Worthy of working on for those at the brewery. This one is like a top Swede prospect entering the NHL via the Red Wings.... give it time and it will be amazing.
