A: Dark brown, a bit of head, good retention, a little lacing.

S: Lots of citrus hops, good malt, grapefruit. Smells great!

T: Lots of hops, alcohol definitely noticeable, not very sweet, not much citrus. Basically, the only redeeming factor is the hops.

M: Dry, medium body, non-astringent, good carbonation.

D: OK, but a bit hard to put down the gullet. This beer needs some work.

On tap at Saraveza 2.18.10 poured into shaker pint glass.

One finger creamy white head, siginficant lacing. Cloudy amber body (unfiltered), a nice looking beer. The nose is citrusy hops balanced by bready malts. Taste is quite complex for a single hop beer, sweetish up front, caramel malts, big hop hit in the middle, spicy, fruity, and a spicy but not bitter finish. A bit more balanced than the regular TG IPA (one of the best NW IPAs, IMHO). Firm mouthfeel, not too filling. The alcohol is well hidden, making this dangerously drinkable. Not sure of ABV, guessing 8.50-9.0. Well worth seeking out. Recommended.
