First had: bottle courtesy of Mr. msubulldog25. Thanks!

Poured into a Tired Hands stem glass, a hazy, pale, amber color with a small cap of white head that retained as a ringlet; moderate soapy lacing. Aroma is expectedly hop-dominant, pine needles and citrus pith, some breadiness. Taste was a bit shocking at first, kind of off-balanced and metallic, but I got used to it soon enough. Pine resin and lots of bitterness, bready malts, almost no sweetness to be had, citrus pith, and a drying bitter finish. Body was about medium. Moderate drinkibility, but a little too harsh...lacked the smoothness of a truly good AIPA, but it was still a solid brew. Might have been a bit past its prime by the time I got to it, though there was no freshness date to be seen.

Picked up at the Brew Shop in Bend during my trip there.

12 oz bottle with no bottling dates.

Hazed amber body with darker hues to the edges. Compact lace white head leaves some nice lacing and pools of foam.

Aromas of juicy grapefruit and a sweet, Fruity Pebble like aroma. Pine and alcohol esters.

Biscuit and caramel malts lead to juicy grapefruit flavors. Slightly soapy mouthfeel. Dry and grainy mid palate, followed up by a bold pine hop bitterness. Green onions and a touch of spice on the finish.

Nice bitterness with good balance. Tasty IPA.

Bottle picked up in Portland at Belmont Station. Opened on 5.25.12.

A - Pours a pale, cloudy light orange with a small off-white head. Fades to half and then lingers.

S - A little pine, a little orange, and a little malt.

T - Oranges, bitter grass, sweet carmel.

D - Good carbonation and a medium body.

O - Sweet and pretty malty. The citrus helps to cut it a bit.

12 oz bottle (brewed 4/30, one week old!)

A- Pours a dark gold with a nice 1 finger white head. Minimal lacing.

S- Slight citrus in the nose with some caramel undertones.

T- Taste is better than smell. Big tropical notes up front with a good malt backbone. More hop forward than TG IPA. The freshness of this bottle really shines.

M- Body is medium. Lighter than TG IPA. Carbonation is nice.

O- I really like this IPA. More hop forward than TG's IPA, but still very drinkable. Two of my favorite Oregon breweries. Great to see these guys put out a collaboration.

12oz bottle into tulip snifter.

Pours a hazy golden with a foamy, bubbly, slightly off-white head.

Very pleasant blend of tropical, citric and light pine hop notes.

Citric fruit and pine, finishes with bready malts.

Medium-full body with average carbonation.

Good hop presence, with a pleasant malty backing. An enjoyable, well balanced IPA. Good collaboration work here.
