Based on an “interrupted fermentation” technique. The yeast works on a specifically “0,0 beer” brewed wort for a short period of time (12 hours).
Non alcoholic beer, bright and golden. The aroma are reminiscent of the malts, with floral and hoppy notes. Very refreshing and light, with a smooth and long bitter aftertaste.

(50 cl can, L0907, 07/23; purchased single off shelf... poured into a 14 oz mug)

L: brilliantly-clear, pale gold liquid; voluminous frothy white foam, fantastic sloped, rocky stand... that dang head keeps thick the whole time, wow!; laces like it'll never run out of suds

S: smells like a textbook Euro pale lager, with a hint of sauermalz?... dense bready foundation, a touch yeasty and saline, marginally dusted with earthy noble hops... excellent overall intensity

T: classic Euro lager NA malt base with the absence of alcohol covered up more than some others due to its depth of doughy malt; soft pretzel aftertaste (nod to the 'saline')... all I'm tasting is soft pretzel now; woodsy hop bitterness eventually builds in the aft, perhaps a bit herbal and bubblegum-peppery too, but barely

F: somewhat lusicous, velvety, inflated flow - the Malton Sea - bobbing along... yeah, its residual drag is seductive; long fade

O: like liquid pretzel in a can... 500 ml is a lot of this, though, unless one's out in the heat and swilling it from the can... I don't know what y'all expect from these NAs; appreciate them for what they are or trying to be (1934)

A great light-tasting NA without the bitter or heavy back-of-the-throat taste that some NAs have. It's easy to forget that this is NA when drinking it, which is one of the hallmarks of a good NA for me.

From the 500 ml can, it pours a clear golden color with a very nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose is unpleasant overall, a friend described it as urine. The taste is less objectionable, with a modest light malt taste coming through with a moderate mouth feel.

Had a few and was driving so thought I’d light up on my last beer, but was surprised how packed with flavor, color, and body this was. Golden appearance and nice head retention, especially for an NA.

330 ml slimline can, from the n/a shelf at Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. Pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Typical n/a beer aroma of over-cooked vegetables, maize baby porridge and unfermented pilsener wort. The flavour is surprisingly decent, I drank the beer a bit too warm, which normally should make a n/a beer nearly undrinkable, but this one was no drainpour. Fairly malty, very moderate hops. Soft mouthfeel. A tolerable drink-and-drive beer.

Appearance: Clear, brilliant deep gold. Frothy white head with good retention.

Aroma: Floral & herbal hops aroma. Grainy malt.

Flavor: Grainy and herbal. Sweet. Restrained bitterness.

Mouth-feel: Full bodied and moderate carbonation. Moderate length sweet finish.

Overall: As far as NA beers, this one is not too bad. Good looking in beer in the glass. Has some nice floral and herbal hops aroma. Where it loses ground is it is quite sweet. Borderline cloying. The sweetness gives it a full bodied thickness, which limits your desire to drink them back to back. I'd drink this one again but it probably won't be a mainstay of the NA beers I drink. I appreciate the effort though from the brewery.

This is a new one to me. From what I understand, NA beers are a much more significant part of Spain’s drinking culture. This one seems to use the worty character to its advantage, integrating it into the (light) flavor profile in a seemless and barely perceptible fashion. To put it another way, this —like Athletic's AAL-style offerings—works, and works well, for the style overall.

This pours crystal clear with bright white foaming. There’s not much aroma, just a light barley-tea (“worty”) note. The sip is similar, with a faint malty-green caramel wort character. The carbonation keeps it light, with a clean finish. This was a pleasant surprise.

Pours clear, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is corn, grain and light pilsner malt. Light bodied, sweet with moderate carbonation. Makes for a standard non alcoholic lager. Solid and drinkable but nothing to go out of the way for.
