12onz brown bottle with freshness on the fron label
The appearance golden color with a thin white head that goes away instantly.
There's some malt when you smell it.The taste got malt also, nice taste.
There's nothing amazing in this beer ,feels good on the mouth(when cold), not bad for macro...

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Dec 2017. ABV is stated as 4.7%. Acquired recently from Home Bargains. The ingredients include maize.
A: Poured into a pilsner glass. A bright golden-amber colour with excellent clarity and good carbonation. Forms a decent head of creamy white foam that lasts for a minute or so before subsiding to a patchy surface layer.
S: Aroma of light malt with hints of mild grain, husks, faint stewed hops, a touch of earthy yeast and a twinge of corn in the background. OK - par for the style.
T: Tastes of pale malt with notes of subtle grain, mild stewed hops, faint husks and vague earthy yeast. Very dry, followed by a crisp, understated bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body for the style. Light but lively. Aftertaste of pale malt, faint grain and subtle stewed hops.
O: No world-beater but decent enough for a macro lager. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are a bland mix of light malt and faint hops. Body is OK. Goes down readily enough; would be fine on a hot day. That said, no need to hunt it down.

A whipped white head with some staying power atop a basic macro color. (They proudly admit to Maize on the label- figure the gringos find that more exotic than corn).
The aroma is lightly earthy- leading into a metallic taste.
The finish clangs on in a harsh, metallic way. Luckily, some C02 washes it out.
Drinkable? MAYBE with spicy food or tapas.
The Gambrinus name is on the label- if this is in league with Corona that expalins alot.
Okay- I tried one Spanish beer.

Estrella Galicia
33 cl can, 'consume before 9/16'... 10 months to go
,66 € @ Superservis, S.A., C/ Avinyo 11-13, Barcelona, Espana
This clear golden pilsner is surprisingly rich in malt that's peppered with herbal and spicy hop flavors. Unfortunately it's not particularly grainy as it's loaded with adjunct.
Its head retention is good, and it leaves some nice lace at the outset of the glass.
The nose is malty and hoppy as well, but also a touch fruity.
The flavor follows suit and It's balanced by a solid bitter back-bone that along with its spicy & herbal hops holds its malt well in check. (Or is that spicy edge actually coming from alcohol?). It finishes short and dry with some herbal, grassy, and leafy hops a short-lingering bitterness.
Overall, this is an interesting European lager because it's got a little bit more malt and hop to it, although it's use of adjunct and fermentation characteristics hold it back.

Pours pale golden from the twelve ounce bottle with a rather large, foamy white head. Immediate unmistakable aroma of a cheap euro lager - some pretty pervasive skunkiness. Aroma actually subsides the closer you get to the beer. Seriously foamy body holds a decent flavor of mid-grade Eurpoean lager - clean, with a slight hoppy bite. Not a bad flavor, but the body and smell make this one pretty undesirable.

12oz bottle
A- Poured into a pint glass. Pours a Pale golden yellow with a fizzy white head.
S- The aroma is faint grainy malt and really not much else. The aroma is very faint.
T- The taste starts off with some malt and just a hint of hops in the finish. Very light and on the watery side.
M- The mouthfeel is light bodied with a high amount of carbonation.
D- Overall, this tastes like a Spanish version of Budweiser. Not horrible, but pretty bland.

Decanted from an 11.2 oz (330 ml) bottle into a snifter glass; best if consumed by 09/2018.
A: Pours a crystal clear, light copper color with a quarter inch, white head, retention down to little more than a rim, and no significant lacing.
S: An slight acetic acid aroma initially that gives way largely to bread rind and pepper.
T: Dry. Watery, but with a bread rind flavor giving way to more of a light caramel. Peppery bitterness is a little strong consistent with a European take on American Adjuncts. Rather a bitter aftertaste limiting the generally thirst-quenching quality of the style.
M: Very light bodied with rather low carbonation.
O: Overall, drinkable but just. Have had the 1906 Reserva Especial, which is more than a cut above this. Wouldn't decline one, if being social, wouldn't order or but another.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Pooler, GA. The appearance is a clear gold color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is old musty malt. The taste matched the smell. This was a completely unpleasant experience. I was not able to read the age of the beer on the bottle.
